I am loosing my mucus plug, it looks like green snotty sperm. i read online it will "grow" back, and just to make sure there is no blood in it. anyone else had this happen?

by the way i will be 27 weeks tomorrow, i am having a few BH but nothing painful or regular

did u ring the midwife or hospital ??? i would just to tell them whats going on but sounds like show to me i had mine about 2 weeks before i had my baby 27 weeks seams very soon x good luck

I actually lost a lot in first tri. When I called my midwife she said it regenerates, but to keep an eye out for any blood (because then it is serious)

i didnt call the doc or L&D. it was just some of it, def. not all. no blood and i have been reading that it regenerates itself. never had this happen with my daughter.
my BH are gone... i drank a lot and went for a walk and dinner.

i looked at it (i know gross) but there was def. no blood. first i was nervous about an infection because it was green... but it was really green and sperm looking, then it dawned on me that it is my plug. but no sign of blood at all.

i will mention it, but was wondering if anyone else lost it early and everything went fine and full term?

Ive been losing it for weeks and still have had no baby. Not everyone gets a bloody show, sometimes you can lose that during labour or not at all. Everyone is different.

I had the same thing at 27 weeks and there was some blood, i also had a possitive fibronectin test as was told baby could arrive at any time ( i am high risk for prem labour anyway) but i am now 33 weeks with no signs of labour! I have heard it happens to lots of people, i'm sure all is fine :)

I lost mine at 31 weeks with my first son and he wasn't born until 41 weeks, I also lost it with this one at 24 weeks and I'm still pregnant now at 31 weeks (nearly 32) :). Try not to worry hun but I would just give your MW a quick ring as they said that it is normal but its always best to double check with them x

been loosing mine since 27 weeks, midwife said its fine aslong as i dont get cramps or a bloody show.

but call your midwife for reasurance if your too worried

I remember at around 27 weeks standing up from the loo and there was like this huge yellowy snot on my inner thigh!! (tmi lol) I was freaking out, but here I am 8 weeks later so all was well!! Don't panic, it does regenerate xx
