Loosing weight

Hi all, really upset, Amy has lost 11oz in a week, she's down to 7lb 4oz. Not a happy baby at all, not content, have been told to top up with formula after every Breastfeed, I still want to carry on so much (as well as formula) but so worried about her weight too. Any advice? Thanks xx

Ah you poor thing, that must be difficult to hear. How often is she feeding and for how long? Do you have pain when feeding? X

Have been having latching issues which cracked my nipples so had to resort to nipple shields which didnt help, but thought things had improved, latch is better but have now also been diagnosed as having PND which I knew but was trying to ignore it stupidly. The midwife said this wouldn't help with my milk production. Have been to the Dr and he has put me on anti depressants and some tablets to try to increase my milk supply, it's all so confusing though, no way I thought this would happen 2nd time round!! She's feeding for around 20-30 minutes but can be every hour or every 4. Xxx
