I got my first bfp a bfp after almost 2 years of ttc and as soon as i had it, it was gone i was miscarrying. My husband is anxious to try again and so iam but im so scared of the dissapointment every month and the waiting and i keep hoping it will be easyier this time since he is actually more on board to the ttc and we wont mess around and miss my fertile days but im still so scared. I know every failed month after this loss is just going to pile up and hurt me even more  Anyways the dr told me i have a tilted uterus when they were trying to find my baby on the ultrasound, he told me it would have no effect but i read that it may take longer to concieve. Does anyone else here have a tilted uterus ? besides that they said everything looked very well and healthy in there so i just keep thinking..then why the hell did it take so long and why did i loose my baby.

Hi, just read ur post and our stories are quite similar. Me and my dh have been ttc for over 3 years now, during test to be referred to fertility consultant they also said I have a tilted uterus. After then going on to an hsg test it was discovered I had blocked tubes. To cut a long story short I had a lap in march, got my first bfp in may then mc at 6 weeks ... Gutted is an understatement as I'm sure you'll agree x I too was scared to try again as as much as I wanted a baby I did not ever want that disappointment again. I also felt guilty, had I done something wrong, was it to soon after surgery? However I saw in my husband eye the relief and excite ment when we got our bfp that I just knew I had to let go of the fear and start again x it's been 4 cycles now and every month I think if it happened once it must be able to happen again?? I was told that with having a tilted uterus that after bd u should tilt ur pelvis as much as possible eg cushion under bottom x good luck for this cycle to us both x

Thank you :) Im trying to let go of the fear i also have similar thoughts and think well if i got pregnant i must be able to so it should happen again and it will hopefully be a successful pregnancy. Hope you get a rainbow baby very very soon !

We got our first bfp just shy of our 5yr mark of tryin to concieve and miscarried at 10 weeks. Then shockingly I got another one 2 months later and then it happened again. I don't think there is much in this world that can cause that kind of pain. Next month will be my original due date. As I get closer to it with still no bfp I get more scared that it will take even more yrs till I am holding a healthy baby in my arms. I am so sorry you are having to go through this. Just remember that there are others out there that understand and that you aren't alone. I hope you get a sticky bfp soon.

Want to say i have a tilted uterus also and have had 2 healthy children. I am currently trying for my third. Everyone is different. It took me 14 months to get pg. with the first baby. I went on BC pills soon after and when he was 1 we started trying again and i got pg. the second month off the pill, unfortunately i miscarried at 5 weeks. Then it took 18 more months before i had another bfp. I was very scared but thankfully my daughter was born as healthy as can be. It does take longer when you have a tilted uterus. Dont care what others say. I have beent rying for my third baby when my daughter was only 4 months old. We didnt want to wait since we are both in our mid 30's. Its been 14 months this month and not one single bfp. I get very frustrated and sad every month i get my hopes up and nothing happens. I pray to the lord he gives me one more healthy beautiful baby. Good luck to you.

I agree with Nino. I also have a tilted (retroverted actually) uterus. My cervix is positioned facing my back instead of high or facing the front. It NEVER rises high, and I am convinced this the reason we have not succeeded in 19 months. However... I have had four successful NATURALLY conceived pregnancies before now, so it has only been a problem this time around. Honestly, I think it's because my cervix is prolapsed a bit due to so many children and advancing age... but my doc won't confirm my fears.

I do know that it's more helpful to lay on your belly after BD than on your back if you have a tilted uterus. If you check your CP, you'll understand why this is the case. Good luck!!
