Low Lying Placenta - 1.8 cm from cervix

So I had an ultrasound today and it showed i have a low lying placenta. They want to do another ultrasound in 3-4 weeks to see if it's moved up at all. Has anyone had any experience with this and did it end up moving away from cervix? I am 33 weeks on wednesday.

I had a low lying placenta through-out my last pregnancy & by 37 weeks it was 1.9cm away from my cervix. My hospital it had to be more than 2cm away so they decided to do a section at 38 weeks. It was fine & I recovered really quickly. You still have time for it to move, good luck x
