LTTC #1 9 years, awaiting IVF

I'd be very worried about going abroad for IVF, the safety of everything.. but i guess it won't hurt if there are reputable clinics around that have been researched. I just missed out on the trial at hammersmith this month... i turned 35 a week before the testing needed to be done... i was too old

See I'm not worried at all about going abroad. My friend had it done in Turkey, ok she lives there so it's different, and it worked first time an she has beautiful 6yr old twins.

I would research it of course and make sure it's got good reviews and all.

Hi Lorna and Gals! We have been TTC for over 8 years. I've had about 12-14 round of clomid, cervical surgery, an ectopic, more clomid, 1 IUI and 1 round of IVF. All unsuccessful. We are moving forward with donor eggs since my egg quality is poor and we can't afford another cycle after this one. This LTTTC is hard, but doing this for 5, 6, 7, ect years is really hard.

Hi so sorry to hear what you have been through almost sounds similar to our story except we are still awaiting on IVF. Glad you have popped on here as it can be a good place for support and I always think it can be good to speak to someone who knows what you are going through. Really hope you have your baby soon and look forward to speaking with you
