LTTTC Ovulation test question...ladies?!!! ;)

Hi Girls! I have an opk question.. I had a + opk on a digi on CD6 (literally right after my period ended.. seemed a bit early)... After feeling like crap the last few days...with what felt like o pains and nausea (Even though I am totally awere it is flu season but ttc has made me crazy lol) i broke down and took another opk and it was BLAZING POISITIVE.. like suuuper dark and way darker than the control line. Probably the darkest one I have ever had. I followed with a FRER (same cup of pee and far from FMU at 7pm..) which was stark white. This is only 9DPO if I am going by the original positive opk... and now I am just completley confused???? Am I O'ing again? can an opk turn positive before a hpt??... what do you think.. I have been trying forever and opks are seriously my least favorite part of the process... I never know what is true with them and what isn't.. trying to figure if i need to BD again or buy HPTs ?????????????

Aww bless hon. It's a complete nightmare isn't it? Reading your post I would've said try a HPT but as you have already done that the only thing I can conclude is that you got your LH surge early but didn't ovulate and now it's trying again.

Also, it is quite early for a HPT so I would wait a few days and try again and with FMU.
I found out I was pregnant when I used an OPK thinking it was ovulation time

This LTTTC can get very tiresome and exhausting can't it. All the best hon xxx

I would Dtd tonight just to cover your bases. I think the cd 6 was probably a fake surge, and you are about to ov. Yes, OPKs can go positive when pregnant, but unlikely to o'd so before a hpt would go positive. When do you normally ov? Is cd15 more usual for you?

thanks for responding... With fertility drugs I usually don't O until cd11 or cd12... but have as late as CD14...( we have used triggers though so my true O time is kind of unknown to me) without them it ranges but cd6 is the earliest to date ( if it was really O).... the last few months we have been off of injections and clomid to give my body a break..... I took another OPK today and it was still suuuper positive.. I BD'ed to be safe!.... LTTTC, you think I would have gotten the hang of this by now! lol

Thank You!!!! I DTD to be safe... had another blazing positive opk today but refused to test with a HPT.... You would think I would of gotten the hang of this with as long as I have tried but every month is a new mystery... oh the joys! lol cd6 seemed really early to me for O... I guess we will just wait and see. boo to waiting..
