LTTTC - TWW anyone?

Maybe you can put down my random worry, that the saline/dye left over from the procedure would affect the sperm and reduce our chances? Can't find anything on it, and kinda just hoping it was all gone in time lol.

Heres_hoping - i had the same fear! i googled like crazy and couldn't find anything one way or the other - but i wasn't told not to BD (which we did just 5 hours after)
You two have just given me some hope - I have my HyCoSy next Thursday which *should* be just before I am due to ov and I was wondering if I was ok to start trying straight after the procedure (as obviously we have to abstain before the procedure is done). I was taking a peek at your other thread but you girls are about a month ahead of me so didn't want to intrude :nope:

From what I have read though, if a tubal blockage contributed to the infertility issues then some people say there is a slightly increased chance of conception for 3 months after a HyCoSy or HSG :flower:

Yes I heard that too about the increased chances, perhaps even if there wasn't an actual blockage, but it cleaned out the tubes. Good luck with your hycosy......take someone with you if you can to hold your hand, it wasn't agony, but it was quite uncomfortable for me and I was glad my hubby was there. It is over very quickly and well worth it for either answers, or reassurance. We bd that night, and the next night, got temp rise on the wed after hycosy on mon x

Hi ladies. I'm so glad xxshellsxx started this thread :happydance:. It was a little bothersome to see how easy it is for everyone to get BFP in their first couple cycles :hissy:. It was like blah blah blah :ignore: after a while. DH and I have been trying for 3 years solid. The first 2 yrs we :sex: like we were never going to see each other again:blush: then last year we fell preggers Nov and March this year. Both ending in mc:cry: We've both been checked out and everything is fine . Im in my 2ww now, :-# [-o< my little bean or beans will stick. How long has everyone else been trying?

15months for no2, after losing my first son 20 months ago. Three years since we decided we wanted to try in total. Very long and hard journey.

12 very long, stressful and complicated years x

So hows everyone feeling today?

6DPO - poas :haha: BFN of course... the urge just gets me even after all this time lol i always have hope that one day i'll see that second line emerge lol x

My hubby will be coming with me - I am hoping they let him stay whilst they are doing the test :)

I am glad to see you here :flower: I have been very quiet on the boards recently as I haven't felt like I 'fit in' anywhere now :( My HyCoSy is scheduled for CD13 and I don't normally ovulate before CD15 so I am hoping we don't have to write this month off.

We have been actively trying in total for over 3 years now, but were NTNP for quite a while before that. Unfortunately both myself and my hubby have reproductive issues, however we did manage to fall pregnant naturally in 2011 but our daughter was stillborn :( We have now been trying for over a year again with no luck and our specialist thinks our best shot is IVF with ICSI but I am hanging onto the hope that we have a small chance of conceiving naturally before we start IVF.

I am 8DPO tday nd feeling some niggles nd getting sore boobs, which I no it's not in my head lol u cnt miss those "symptoms. Just hope it's a positive sign nd not pre AF symptoms.

Good luck ladies, hope to c lots of BFP

3 years for me - but I have known since I was 17 that I had PCOS, so I knew I would have issues. I just was hoping they wouldn't be so involved. I have PCOS on top of endometriosis (it was removed), and two blocked tubes, and cervical cancer cells (removed), and had to have a LEEP .... I had no idea how much trouble I'd be LOL

I got pregnant July 2011 and had a miscarriage 1 week later. I've been trying ever since with no luck :nope: So that makes this month my 20th month TTC.

Haha, shells what are you like?

7 dpo for me. I am determined to wait until at least the weekend. My lp was 10-11 days for a long time too, but since I've been dong acupuncture, it improved to 12 then 14 days. Sunday will be 12 dpo for me.....so trying to hold off for another week if I can.

Serenynx yes I know the feeling of not fitting in anywhere too, here feels right :hugs:

heres_hoping - i can't help myself once i get to 6dpo lol It's an urge that overtakes me lol I will poas everyday until Af shows... or hopefully doesn't (but who am i kidding lol) x

Don't say the "who am I kidding" part! My doctor said that after the HSG is done, your fertility increases for about a year because it's like a wide-open path straight there for the little swimmers ... and you just got that done - AF is likely to not show!! :)

bless ya hun, it's so much easier for me to believe she will show than she won't lol I don't know how i will react if i finally ever do see 2 lines on a HPT  probably faint lol

I've posted them in the hpt forum... but wish i hadn't bothered - i was looking for advice on colour... not weather i should have or have not BD after HSG! and was told i shouldn't even be testing and to forget this cycle as the dye will kill the sperm and egg. I don't remember asking for that bit of advice :growlmad:
