I've been constantly nervous about lumps in my breast since a started breastfeeding. I have three in my left breast that have been there for weeks, they are not sore and I don't have a fever. I hope I don't spend the next 12 months being paranoid because I don't know if I'll be able to go that long freaking out about every lump. Hopefully my doctor will be able to ease my mind next week.

Hmm..I developed a lump myself, but Im more inclined to think that its a backed up milk duct..so Im compressing and massaging just to figure it out.. Dont worry, Im sure it has something to do with BFing

I always had lumpy breasts when BFing. AS long as they are moveable, and not painful, they shouldn't be a prob. If they feel like peas, and feel stuck (not moveable), or painful, they I would go get them checked out. Otherwise, they are probably milk ducts...mine still get bumpy right before AF arrives. If you are really worried tho, why not go get it checked for peace of mind.

I find my breast are always lumpy when they have milk in them. The lumps do however go away after my lil one has fed. If they are not painful I wouldn't worry, but ask your doc for a second opinion.
