So happy to have been bf for six months. Can't believe that our LO has grown so much just drinking milk - must be good stuff!
It has been a bit challenging recently, as I have been back at work since the beginning of September, and have been pumping a lot. LO needs about 13 5oz bottles a week, and I have to be very organized to stay on track. I had built up a bit of a frozen stash over the summer, but this went down very quickly. Sometimes I didn't quite keep up, and ended up pumping after his night feeds. But he has only had one bottle of formula so far, when I had real problems one night. (I was scared that he would prefer the formula, and not want my milk anymore, but he needed another feed three hours later, and was more than happy to go back on the boob!)
We have just started baby led weaning, but I'll try to keep bf as long as I can!
