I am getting married 2 weeks this Saturday and I really really need to find a foundation that looks good. I have really dry skin between my eyebrows and forehead and sometimes nose... nice

Atm I am using matt moose but it does me no good. I always moisterise before putting it on but it always dries dry and flakey

I am having to do my own make up for my wedding as cant afford anyone to do it so any help will be sooo greatly appreciated xxx

Also if anyone has any make up tips for a great wedding look please, any ideas will be fab :)

I also posted in general chatter but really need as much help as I can get

I used to go to Boots for a free makeover thing, they do them in Debenhams too and they tell you how to do it as well, and offer you the best make up for your skin. I used to do it before parties and things, and I found the BEST foundation ever by doing it :p
Best of luck with the wedding, you must be so excited! xx

 shall I just go the morning of my wedding then... free professional make up :haha:

But seriously, when you go to debenhams or wherever do you go with no make up on  or do they have wipes to remove it once your there? I might pop in tomorrow, I've always been too shy lol.

Thanks for the reply xxx

I used to moisturise and go straight there, but they teach you how to put it on and stuffs so you can repeat it later. I only really went if I was going out somewhere special or if I felt my skin had changed and my make up didn't suit me anymore.
Now I'm lazy and barely wear make up XD
I'm gonna do my own make up for my wedding as well, there are better things to be spending your money on when you haven't got much of it, which unfortunately I don't :p xx

Go and see the girls at Chanel and Estee Lauder - they have fab foundations for dry skin, and will help you match your skin to the right products

xxx

I agree go and get a make-over in Boots or something :)

I would do this for my wedding but I get married at 12pm and the Boots I would have to go to for the makeover is over 20 mins away. I just wouldn't have the time!

I have just bought the Max Factor 2nd Skin foundation and think its really good its very light! x

Im the same hun, can never get a decent foundation so i went into debenhams and tried the elizabeth arden - ceramide plump! Its amazing and i also used it for my wedding and have used it ever since! its about £26 for a big tub but its SO worth it xx

Oooh and in debenhams i also told them i was doing it for my wedding and they gave me a free tester which lasted about 5 days, so try and get one of those hun xx

I agree with the ladies. Pop yourself off to debenhams and get them to sort it for you. Treat yourself a new foundation while you're there so you don't feel bad for them doing it

No7 do a makeover for £5 and its really good you even get your £5 back of you buy something. So say a lipgloss is £6 you only pay £1.

What about a tinted moisturiser rather than foundation? I use No7 it goes on nice and isn't drying.

Invest in a YSL highlighting conceler pen too.......worth every penny

Do you exfoliate?

I get the dry bit inbetween the eyes, make sure you moisturise twice a day, i use a virgin vie vitamin e cream and its fab.
