Anyone had there make up done at one? Which is best? I want to buy some mac foundation for wedding. But like benefit too lol

How much sre they normally for the makeovers x

I get mine done at benefit, it's free but you usually have to make an appointment. With MAC you have to pay a deposit, and in my personal experience I've found the staff rude xx

I want big lashes, smokey eyes, the lot for me wedding lol x

I had one done at Bobbi Brown and it was free but I had to book an appointment. Also had one done at Clinique, also free with an appointment, but I liked the Bobbi Brown one so much better. xx

I have had one done at Estée Lauder in boots, it was free but you have to book an appointment x

I booked an appointment at Clinique before my 21st Birthday party a few years ago. It was free.
I never had any intention to buy anything as I only wear mascara & eye liner normally.

I have had one for MAC, I had to pay a deposit of £20-£40 and this got offset against any makeup brought thereafter. I would check out local make up artists in your area who specialise in wedding makeup too, it's another option to consider. X

Iv already booked make up and hair but she keeps letting me down, also money is tight :(

I've had mine done with Estee Lauder and Clinique in the past. I remember it being around £20, but then you get that as 'credit' if you want to buy any makeup. I just bought more foundation which I needed anyway, so was a freebie.

I had a makeover with Smashbox. Free but had to make an app. I ended up buying loads for my wedding !

I had mine done at Benefit, was really good, the girl showed me lots and I really liked the stuff (so want to buy it all eventually). I did however feel very pressured into buying, in that I spent £70 I couldn't afford (it was spending money for my holiday the following week!) on makeup. I ended up returning it the next day pretending that my skin was all itchy later that night from the test makeup so didn't bother opening anything, luckily they fully refunded me.

Will buy it all in the summer if I have money to spare, as I really loved the makeup haha xx

I've had a few done at Mac, and always really liked the finished result.
You need to book quite far in advance. Its about £30, I think, but that's redeemable against make up (and lashes - which they'll apply for you).
xx
