making and storing?

when i had my other 2 age 12 and 6, i always made up bottles in advance and kept them in the fridge til they were needed and heated them up, but apparently were not meant to do this anymore but make up the feeds as and when we need them, what is everyone else doing? surely they would be fine kept in the fridge, my other 2 never got sick or anything when i did it this way

I do this, I make up 6 bottles for the day and heat up when needed, my baby is fine.

You're not mean't to but if it's what you've always done with your other 2 then just go with what you did before. You're always going to get things like this happen where things change in time. I always make up as I go along but I've known plenty of people do it your way x

God knows, my fiances mum did it as well back in the day. I use the ready made 1 litre cartons and they say on them once opened the carton lasts for 48 hours, so it would be the same in a bottle surely, if not better as the bottle is sealed.

i do it !! im half asleep thro the night feed myself so its defo not safe to be making bottles !! i cant see how all these yrs theyve done it and now u cant ! same as mircowave !

i do it!

i make 6 up stick them in the fridge
and heat them up when i need them
much easier than sterillising and cooling
down a fresh one when shes screaming!

I make up 6 in the morning and heat them up when miss wakes up lol! Its easier as i think i couldnt make them in the middle of the night as jenna does really scream for it lol xx

I do it. Leo has 3 bottles a day which I make in advance and store in the fridge and I have done from day one and hes fine x

I'd do what i've always done if i was you.
I normally make chloe's bottles up all at once but last night i forgot to make her a bottle for this morning and OMG it was hell. How some mums can clean a bottle, sterilise it, make it up and cool it down one at a time is beyond me it nearly killed me this morning im just lucky LO fell back asleep and wasn't crying like she normally does.
