making bottles when abroad

We go to Tunisia in April, my LO will be almost 10 months then so no idea how many bottles we will be on then but I was wondering how we go about making them.

You can't drink their tap water, so would I buy bottled water and boil this?
Also sterilising....is it okay not to do it for a week? As steriliser is a bit to bulkly to take.

I took a cold water steriliser (like a large lunch box) and used Milton tablets. You can store 2 bottles in the tub to travel so doesnt really take much space up.

If you get the correct bottled water over there (without all the minerals etc) there is no need to boil it to clean it - just as usual you can boil and cool, or start with water straight from the bottle and heat to above 70.

Problem is we only have 15kg baggage allowance each, and none for LO so I'm kind of worried about taking too much stuff!

So I need bottle water with the least minerals in. Thanks

It's not too bulky and it's very light. We had a microwave in our apartment but you can also use this with Milton as Lisa1302 said x

Was at children centre this afternoon so I thought I'd ask the HV, she said it's fine not to sterlise the bottles as he will be almost 10 months as long as you don't make you bottles in advance which I don't. That saves me some space!

She couldn't remember about whether you had to boil mineral water or not, so she is going to find out and give me a call. just thought I would post incase anyone else needed to know
