mams with a toddler and a baby, how did you manage in the begining?

I had ds2 in the cot when ds1 visited us in hospital and the first thug he said was "where's mines baby???" No hi mummy or where did u go to last night lol! We are 12 weeks in and have a little routine going on am evening now. During the day it is best to be out and about I find so ds1 is entertained. Hope all goes well x

thanks ladies your advice is a great help already, my ds loves baking and my mam will be helping to look after the baby and ds when oh goes back to work so we will be doing that, the park is only a few minutes walk from our house, he will still go to his playschool 2 mornings a week so he gets time to himself, away from the baby and play with his friends, he loves it so id hate from him to be bored at home while im busy with the baby, plus again its only 15 minutes walk from our house dh is gonna take him off for fun dates with him when he come home from work to give me some cuddle time with baby/get some housework done and im gonna do the same as hes my best little buddy and go everywhere together im really going to miss him when im in the hospital
