Mandatory that insurance pays for breast pumps!

I just looked mine up. I have HealthNet and let me say it was in the fine print lol but it's covered through vendors of their choice manual or electric. Thanks for the info!
 
I have cigna ppo and I know they cover the pump but it's a specific one - you have to go through carecentrix and it's the ameda purely yours pump. Still happy to get a free one though! Other cigna plans may cover diff ones.
 
Sorry, jumping over here from first tri, but I just wanted to say make sure you check with your insurance company on this, because Tricare West does NOT cover breast pumps unless you have a premature infant or medical problem that requires it. They will not cover it for convenience. Since Tricare is considered a government/military benefit, and not a true insurance plan, they are exempted from this legislation. I would guess the others listed are fine, but if you have Tricare, CALL FIRST!

Correct it has to be a true insurance plan :)
