Hi :)

Looking to buy a manual single breast pump for situations where I'm able to use the double electric pump.

What would you all recommend brand-wise?

Thanks in advance!

I used the Medela harmony and found it very easy (not that I have a point of reference as I never used any other type of pump!) It's also cheap which is good! x

I bought a fairly cheap avent one, which seems to work well. The only shame is that I have a Medela electric... Life would be much easier if all the parts etc match!

I used the tommee tippee one which I bought because it was on offer with bottles and breastpads and stuff. When I looked at the reviews after it has really bad reviews but I always found it fine. I will say that once I went back to work and started using an electric pump some of the time it wasn't as efficient but then I think my supply dropped anyway going from full times feeding to pumping, and it took me months to figure out how to take it apart completely. I would definitely use it again though next time.
