Lillyfleur I would say to her and see if they will refer you for a reassurance scan. Symptoms come and go and you might just sail through this pregnancy with no sickness, how do you feel in yourself? I would certainly push for one just for your own peace of mind. Do you have an EPAU near you that you could go to? X

I have my booking in app tomorrow and just feel like it’s a total waste of time if something has happened to the baby, don’t know why they can’t just give you a quick scan first, I paid for private scans with my daughters but can’t really justify spending £70

Not sure whether to even mention to the midwife that I’m not even sure I’m still pregnant as can’t imagine they would send me for a scan and would prob just dismiss it.

Well i think you should mention it to your midwife. Im having an early scan on Thursday and i keep thinking the same. I think its natural at this stage to feel the way we do. Is there no cheaper options around? Im going to peek a baby and its only £45 xxx
 
I feel a bit detached from this pregnancy, don’t know if that’s because we conceived so quickly and I wasn’t expecting it or because something has happened.

I’ll mention it tomorrow, my booking in app is at a hospital but it’s a really small one but they do have ultrasounds as that’s the place they do the 20 week scan, in an ideal world they would just send me down for an ultrasound but I doubt they will, I don’t think early scans are common in the NHS unless you’re bleeding etc

The hospital I give birth at is 40 mins away and this little one is 20 min away so I get sent there for some appointments.

I’m feeling a little bit nauseous right now! So fingers crossed we shall see.
 
Had my scan yesterday, was a little nervous going in and dreading it rather than being excited. They did abdominal so the image was quite poor but everything seems to be going well. Baby measured 8+3. They told me I could increase my nausea meds if needed to from 4 tablets a day to 6.

I'm so bloated that I look 4 months pregnant. We told the in laws but sister in law called us out on it before then. She said she knew the second she laid eyes of me because of the belly. I don't usually have own but in quite big at the moment, even though I thought I was good at disguising it.

I feel really nervous for mine the closer im getting to Thursday evening!!! I felt sick all morning today until just after lunch!! Xx

The bloat is crazy isn’t it! Ah so cute! I’m so glad your scan went well. Hopefully your nausea subside a little when you up your meds x
 
The bloat is definately crazy!! Il see if i can get a pic to show u’s

Today’s been worse day ive felt soo drained and sick ive slept most the day aswell and barely ate.
 
It is absolutely crazy the bloating!! Im like that lovely! Why does it Happen!! Xxx

I’m keeping everything crossed but the nausea is such a good sign x

Im considering asking for a doctors line tmorro to get another week off work after today as i have never felt so awful but ive never had one in my life and worried they would reject me asking... my 7day self certificate ends tmorro so i need a line or phone fit. I aint due bck in til Monday anyway but i still dont think i will be well enough
 
Lovely to see all the scans ladies, I'm very jealous lol! Nausea has kicked in fully for me too. I was in the in-laws on Monday morning and nearly got sick. My mother in-law walked into the kitchen to me stuffing ready salted crisps into my mouth at half ten in the morning. She either suspects something or just thinks I'm a a gluten lol. I've told my friends but going to try hold off telling family until the scan.Nausea gets worse if I don't eat regularly which is good as I get some relief when I eat. I'm waiting for it to progress to full on throwing up like it did with DD2. Glad I'm feeling nauseous though. Reminds me that I am actually pregnant!

Lol I’m literally munching on crisps like there’s no tomorrow. Those and strawberry milkshake. Oh I hope you just stick with the nausea for this one I hate being sick x
 
So I borrowed my sisters sonoline b Doppler that she had when she had my neice last year. Amazingly I found the heartbeat after about ten minutes right at the top of my pubic bone was much higher up than I expected. Sounds like a little train. Going to keep it for a few weeks for some reassurance but once I get into my second trimester il give it her it back I don’t like having one of them if I’m too late on. But it’s pretty cool had a reading of 157 so that’s nice and strong x

I could not have written this post any differently. I feel the exact same! I thought i was just being a fatty!! For me too with the ready salted crisps!! 8am on the train to work haha!! I haven’t actually thrown up yet either. How far along are you? Im 6+3 according to my app. (My ticker is wrong)

I have my early scan tomorrow and ive got such anxiety today about it!! I was nearly in tears earlier. Ill only be 6+4 xx
 
My booking app went fine, I told her my symptoms had reduced and she didn’t seem concerned at all, I also mentioned to her how i feel a bit disconnected from this pregnancy and she said I would probably feel better after the 12 week scan after I’ve seen the baby.

I’m thinking of booking a private scan for this Sunday and then telling close family, I let slip and told my eldest daughter so it’s only a matter of time she spills the beans!

Well i went to doctors today ladies & got anti sickness tablets so far they are workin but im stil really tired which doesnt help when a side effect is tiredness frm the tablets aswell
