Maybe Olive is Alice's sister. She was on her own with her mum when we saw her in the 80's.

And that's what the initials are, they found out something through Alice's dad, maybe even something they don't know is significant.

Amy gets so haunted by Alice she kills herself, or Alice persuades her to join her. Personally I think that's a stretch too far for ITV.

I watched again today, much nicer watching during the day with full concentration, I was too tired on Thursday! I still managed to scream out and make Harry cry but then I laughed when I saw how much the hand looked like a mannequin's on a stick!

One of the girls at work had a good theory about what happened to Alice

She thinks it has something to do with the grandad seeing as he was with her at the time x She thinks that maybe Alice saw her grandad do something or saw him with someone & he saw her looking & chased after her not wanting her to reveal a secret maybe?? He seems very in the background all the time never really saying anything apart from when Ruth made him tell her again what happened! also in the flashbacks of Alice when she's running she keeps looking back as if she is being chased.
