Married Before Or After Or Not?!

We had been engaged for almost a year when we started NTNP. Married when LO was 6 months old.

I always said I wanted to be married before we had children but then my sister's husband left her for another woman 2 weeks after she gave birth to their 2nd son and I figured that a ring actually wasn't that important after all.
