They said it'd take up to two weeks. Today is two weeks that I've been waiting to find out if my baby has a chromosomal problem. I've been near an anxiety attack all day.
I called the doctor and they haven't received results yet. I hope this doesn't mean it's likely positive for something!

Update: Week 4. Came back positive for Trisomy 18.

That's strange, I got mine back in 7 business days. I'll bet your results are on the way and everything is fine.

I reckon if anything was wrong they would have come back quicker. I'm sure all is fine :)

I'm still freaking waiting!!! There was a lab error so I might get results on Tuesday. That will be 4 WEEKS that I've waited for this test.
Not to mention, everyone I've spoken with who has had the test has had a false positive. Not one person I've spoken to has had a negative result.
This company should be sued. And I'm furious at my doctor for saying it was so accurate. I wish I had researched better.
I am so tired of being stressed out about this pregnancy. I'm over 35 and it took over two years to conceive so if this baby isn't healthy, I may not be able to have a child.
I am BEGGING. Please pray for my LO to be healthy. PLEASE!!!

Oh, sorry you've been left waiting. I think I'm right in saying this company claims to be diagnostic and gives a positive/negative result. But it's no more accurate than the Harmony test, which claims to be 95% accurate (higher for Downs Syndrome) and gives results as odds.
(I got less than 1 in 10000).

Fingers crossed for you.

For all 3 of you who seemed to care

I finally got the results back 4 weeks later.
It came out positive for Trisomy 18. I'm scheduled for an amniocentesis on Tuesday to confirm if it's so or if it's a false positive.
My doctor did an ultrasound due to the results. Baby is measuring behind and there's a questionable heart arrhythmia. He said he's worried.

It's taken over two years to conceive. I'm so devastated.:cry:

Peanutt I have seen your thread for the first time tonight and I am so sorry the result wasn't what you were hoping for. I know how distressing the wait is for the results and for you then to get a positive result is truly heartbreaking. I hope you have lots of support around you at this time. Will you let us know how you get on with the amnio on Tuesday?x

Peanutt, I'm so sorry you have to go through this. Sending you lots of loving thoughts. xxx

I'm so sorry to hear this Peanutt. What a terrible thing for you and your partner to go through. Good luck for Tuesday, hugs coming your way! :hugs:

I'm so sorry that you're going through this. Big hugs xxx

Oh Peanut I'm sorry you're going through this :hugs:. Praying for you that it is a false positive.

I'm really sorry to hear this Peanutt and I hope the amnio shows something different. Not that it will help much but my husband's auntie carried a baby that was found to have Edwards syndrome which was devastating as they were an older couple and like you, took some time to conceive. They now have beautiful twin daughters. I guess my point is that some time in the future there will be a time when there is light. xx

I have been following your thread and am very sad to read your most recent update. All my crossables are crossed that it's a false positive. :hugs:

Hi Peanutt-I've just seen these posts today for the first time and sending my deepineatband warmest wishes to you and your partner at this awful awful time. I pray for you that Tuesday brings better news for you and that you find the strength to get through these next few days which are gonna be so tough. Thinking of you xxxxx
