how much do you have? i figure ill be bigger in the summer and dont want to over do it now, but i also dont want to stretch out my normal clothes

this is what i have so far

two jean skirts
1 fancy skirt
1 fancy shirt
2 undershirts
2 sweaters
1 long sleeved shirt

do u think i can pull this off until the end of winter?
i still feel like its not much and i do wear some of my regular shirts even tho im afraid of stretching them coz pregnancy stuff is EXPENSIVE!

whats everyone else doing? i need to have clothes coz i go to college and work from home a bit so i cant lounge around in pjs all day. im not huuge but i am growing ..

At the moment all I have is two pairs of relatively smart trousers to use for work. I´m not showing that much, but I can´t get into normal trousers and jeans comfortably anymore. Tops are OK at the moment, as its still cold, so am using jumpers etc.

I bought a couple of short sleeved maternity tops that were reduced in the sale and have put them aside for the summer time, but if bump starts to grow big time between now and then I can always wear them with a cardigan to keep warm.

At weekends I tend to wear tracksuit bottoms and a couple of pairs of loose fitting linen trousers, which I can still fit into. Hopefully that will get me through the winter, as I don´t want to buy too many winter maternity stuff as the majority of it I´ll need in the summer.

I only brought 1 top, a pair of trousers and a skirt maternity wise, other then that I wear joggers and bigger size tops, sometimes I wear my hubby's tracksuits and tops

I have a surprising amount but I don't like most of it so still want more!!

I've got some good, plain long sleeve shirts from Dorothy Perkins, a long sleeved, white shirt from H&M, a black one and a floral one from Mothercare and a blue jumper from next. Most of the tops I quite like & I've found a couple in my regular clothes which still fit ok.

As for trousers I've got those roll top black ones from Next, a nice pair of underbump jeans from next and a black pair of cargo pants from Dorothy Perkins which are the only ones I like.

Then I have a TERRIBLE pair of over bump jeans from mothercare, some not very nice jeans from the littlewoods catalogue because they always fall down and make my bum look strange and an ok pair from next and again littlewoods.

I really want some from Topshop but OH said no as I already have so many. :hissy:

All am doing is buying leggins and baggy tops, the leggins r about £7 a go or something and the tops well am just getting size 12 tops so there big and baggy on me, whats the point in splashing out on expensive maternity clothes when you wont be really wearing them for too long will you.

Try looking in Primark....i have found that going the next size up in their tops does me just fine and they are soooooo cheap!!!

thanks for the input girls, looking forward to hearing from others too, no uk suggestions tho i live far away..

I've found wearing my OH hooded sweaters the best for winter. Most maternity clothes still make me look like a moo moo. I do own a pair of work pants and a pair of jeans that are maternity. I bought them at week 16 and I still have room to stretch if need be which is great because I wont have to buy another pair!

I have two pairs of jeans and a 5 shirts. My pre-preg shirts still fit me, so that's a plus.

I'd just buy cheap lose and baggy things instead of maternity clothes as they are expensive

I really dont have enough maternity clothes, but I hate the thought of spending loads on clothes I wont wear for much longer !!!

I've got:

Jeans from Next
Smart black trousers from Dorothy Perkins
Jogging bottoms from H&M

I only have 2 Maternity tops from Peacocks which I brought on Saturday. I've been make doing with my own tops so far but they are starting to ride up at the front now lol

I'd deffo recommend having a look in peacocks, they have some really nice maternity stuff in there and its pretty cheap too...

I have bought two pairs of maternity trousers, as buying a bigger size just didn't work, they fit round the waist but then massive on the legs! I am still wearing my normal jumpers.... can't fit into any dressy tops though, so if i go out in the future i will have to buy something

so far I've just got 2 pairs of smart work trousers, one pair of jeans and a top. Most of my usual tops still fit. ish!
I will need more, but like you i'm trying to wait until spring.

I find my maternity trousers to be a little big, but I didnt want to just buy a larger size of normal ones in case i grew out of them really fast.

I think I can make do until the warmer weather comes.

Trying not to buy much winter stuff either so far I'm only at one pair of nice pants and lounging in OH's pj pants otherwise... I get laughed at but even to the store, I don't really care about the laughing tho, I've been feeling too lousy. I saw some nice tops that I'm looking at starting to buy tho because I'm thinking that I can were them alone during the summer and with a sweater for the spring

i havnt bought any proper maternity clothes yet
None seem to fit me they are all massive, i have jus got some some lounging trousers as they are loose fitting and and a couple of tops that flare out at the bottom, alot of my other stuff still fits me tho!

I have 2 pairs of work trousers, 2 pairs of jeans, a tankini sort of thing and 3 vest tops. I had quite a lot of baggy tops in the first place, so they all still fit fine and probably will for ages yet!

UK girls, Peacocks is really good for maternity stuff. Its quite cheap, and theyve got a fab range too :)

xxx

I have 3 pair of pants for work, 2 pair of jeans, and numerous shirts. I went to a Motherhood Maternity shop during a sale and stocked up!
