Hey ladies. I'm not a fan of online shopping as I prefer to try before I buy but I'm really struggling with finding maternity wear. I thought being pregnant in summer would give me a wider choice but clearly not! My local new look and Dorothy Perkins no longer stock maternity wear in store at all.I managed to get a few tops from red herring but that's all. H&M is really drab too.
Has anyone bought from seraphine or jojomananbebe? If so how do the sizes come up? I have a wedding and party next month so a nice dress would be fab x

I'm interested in this as looked in most shops and no maternity clothes and I don't really want to buy online as I'm an awkward size so would want to see it or try it on

For everyday stuff I've bought a fair bit from asda. Asos have some lovely stuff and some quite dressy bits too. I have barely found anywhere stocking maternity clothes in store.

Its so annoying isnt it! And its all white grey black or navy! Eugh.
Im going to pop to asda tokorrow so Ill have a look there and on asos thank you. Will probably only wear the occassion dress twice soni dont want to spend heaps on it x

Hi does asda have maternity clothes? I have been buying a larger size in standard shops which is working right now. I have been to m and s and a few others and as you say all online. Might be worth giving eBay ago too as we won't be in the clothes for too long. Debenhams has quite a good sale on right now some in store but a lot online

Even my local asda stopped stocking maternity clothes in the shop! So annoying! I've had to order most online but found new look to have a few pieces. All I'd say is, if you're unsure on the size, order 2 and send one back. Online purchases are covered by distance selling laws so they have to give you enough time to return stuff. If they're daft enough to only stock online...let them deal with the faff of the administration in sending it back.

I've been living in new look maternity in lucky to have a store which stocks it. also ordered a few bits from ASOS they are good too xx

I've ordered everything from asda online, don't think it's in my local store. Asos have some really reasonable bits and a good clearance section. I got an occasion dress for £14

Oooh ill have a look. It amazes me that its not in store anymore x

Maternity wear in the uk is just rubbish. I have quite a bit from least time round but it's all mostly blue or black and ultra boring. I was hoping to pick up some nicer pieces but nowhere in Sheffield appears to stock them in store so I might have to order on line. I also have a wedding next month and need to find something to wear for it. I'm seen a couple of nice dresses in Jo jo maman bebes which I could wear day to day but still be suitable for the wedding so I might order them and hope for the best.

tkmaxx do some nice dresses that look pretty good when pregnant. they aren't mat ones but still look pretty good.

Apparently having a baby and not looking like either a granny or tramp dont go hand in hand 😬

I'm not from the UK but I've heard from another UK lady that there is a UK Zulily, which is a set that sells all sorts of things from other distributors and always have items on sale. New sales every single day, including maternity wear, maternity bras, and nursing bras.

My personal favorite place to shop for maternity clothes is PinkBlush Maternity. They ship outside the US and have the most adorable and fashionable maternity clothes, and sell short sleeves and ling sleeves year round.

I know you mentioned you don't like to online shop, and the ones I gave were online based, sorry about that, but still think the clothes are cute enough that they are worth a look. With PinkBlush my personal experience is they run a bit small so I ordered up a size

Thanks lock and key, ideally I don't want online but don't really seem to have a choice. I'll check out both of those x

So i went to asda and they also only stock online now! 😠😠😠
Why do shops deem you incapable of shopping in store because your preggers, im really annoyed x

bought most of mine from H&M, topshop, JJMB and online (envie des fraises, noppies)

or i am wearing flowy tops (like the boho teeshirts) and joggers with some pretty flip flops and waterfall cardies.

ASOS have some nice bits I have a wedding in 2 weeks and another 2 weeks after that and I ordered a whole load of dresses tried them and then returned the ones I didn't want for free they have also got a 50% sale on some maternity wear on at the moment!

Some nice bits not blue, black, white or navy!

I have also got some bits from ASDA online and also New Look online! I have some maternity linen trousers from Jojomaman they come up very long and big around the top but a life saver in this hot weather!

Find Next good for maternity jeans and also Mama & Papa's do maternity wear and some bits actually in store

They don't want to have to clear up if your waters go, only way I can explain it...

Just come home in tears feeling like a fat frump!!! The minimal maternity clothes I could find were awful and in normal clothes nothing fitted properly!!! Am searching the internet now but just know I'll order stuff which won't fit and will go back!!! Xx

Oh I forgot about H&M

Ok, so I did a bit on online looking for you since I'm not in the UK. I found a few stores. They have a store locator near the top of the website, so I'm not sure if they are close to you, but I hope they are so you can finally find something cute.

There's a store called Next, one called Debenhams, one called Seraphine, one called New Look, and one called Mothercare.

I hope you manage to find something. Shopping during pregnancy is so hard!
