Maxicosi axiss....anyone got one ??

Ours has just arrived.......anyone got one and what do you think ???

My only dissapointment with it is you have to ( well to get it to turn correctly ) have it behind the drivers seat !! ....i would have like to be able to see him more easily !

we have two we liked it that much...!!
fab seat....love it... we have LO behind the driver anyway as our 6yr old son refuses to swap sides.
how does it make a difference??

Because it only rotates one way ....ie clockwise....so if you have it behind the passenger seat you have to crawl over the back seat which i thought kinda defeated the object ??/......or am i being thick ???

It turns both ways, you have to turn a switch underneath it to select which way you want it to turn

That freeaking THICKO salesman !!! Went to Halfords....firstly it took him about 10 mins to install.......then he told us it only turns one way.... then he told us it didnt recline !!!! AND HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE CHILD SEAT EXPERT !!! SILVER STAR AT THAT !!!!!!!!!!!

Yeh not quite sure HOW though my uncle showed OH how to do it, and it does recline!

to get it to recline, you press the white button (below the bottom part of the seatbelt & kind of "push" it).
& yep, there's a "switch" on the bottom to get the seat to rotate the other way.
ours is ready for when bella (eventually) reaches 9kg.

I would - I am very shocked at that.
Mum and Dad bought a Maxi Cosi Tobi from Halfords, LO wasn't even with them.
They guy said he had to fit it into the car they bought with them - dads pride and joy jaguar, even though mum and dad both expained LO would not ever be going in the jag but in their skoda octavia (seat fits in both).
So, he spent 20 minutes fitting an explaining, dad apparently near on punching the guy everytime he wiggled and yanked the seat around on his immaculate leather upholstery.... only for them to take it out at home.
We bought ours off amazon - just under £150!!!

They are shite in Halfords, I don't think they get proper training!!

I LOVE our Axiss it's worth every penny (and at you not knowing it turned both ways heeheh! ). We also have a tobi which was the same price and they are identical seats pretty much so I wish we'd got two Axiss's.

I have it in my car but my mum & DH have different seats in their cars & its soooo much easier putting her in/getting her out of the Axiss

we have it behind the passenger seat & it was worth every penny IMO xx
