Hey ladies.
Maximilian is here, he weighs 6 pounds and is 19 inches. he is amazing and beautiful and I am so in love.
Here is my birth story:
I came to the hospital at 6 am on June 2nd ( was 39 weeks) due to an induction because of my chronic hypertension and that Max was not growing in the womb, I got pitocin at 630 am, and they upped it every 30 minutes, i was feeling alrightst watching TV, playing on my phone, making jokes with hubby and the nurse. I started at 2 dilated, and had my water broken at 830, now that was allot of water, at 1030 the nurse checked me and I was dilate to 3, I asked when was a good time to get IV medication, she said to try and wait till I was 5 dilated which i decided that would be fine, as the contractions were not unbearable yet. I got up and moved around at 11, trying to let gravity help and boy did it, by 1130-1145 my contractions got really really strong, nurse checked and I was 10 dilated and I told her I had to push, she said push with the next contraction, we were so surprised on how quick I dilated. The nurse called the Dr and the baby doctor, and we got started 10 minutes later, I never seen people move so fast to get things ready to go..I pushed maybe thru 4 contractions, the second to last hurt the most as his head had crowned, oh man did that burn, and at the next contraction I pushed so hard he came out, I didnt give the Dr or nurse time to tell me to push and he was here at 1219 pm. I didn't get any pain medication as I went so quickly. My husband said i had a football players face on and I screamed thru each push, i thought I would have been more quiet.
My labor lasted 3 hours 54 minutes, from time water broke until Max came!!!!
I'm feeling great and Max is doing wonderful.
