Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

george looks at me with a real dirty look when he gets hiccups, as if its all my fault lol

Leo does that too :haha: right now he watching OH play ps3 looking really into the game - its a racing car one :haha:

Prayers to Westons family:kiss:

Yay for seeing the OH new!

Wiggler, no idea, tuna  lol, sure would be fine though. I should take a lesson from you, the waste here can be shocking.

Wud, hope everythings going well.

Wild, aww happy 1 week:happydance:

24, happy 1 month! I want my little one to be 1 month old again:brat:

Hopeful, hiccups always annoy Eilidh but I find they are useful post feed, if she's hiccuping she wont spit up!

My hubby is a muppet, he somehow managed to forget he had traffic court today. The idiot was stopped for driving with Cali plates and licence not Arizonan, mainly because he didn't know lol so he replaced them but he wasn't carrying his proof of insurance, he found it later still in the glove box:dohh: So he could sent a copy in but he forgot until his phone beeped this morn reminding him and he had to rush to court lol, he was so close to a $1000 fine, idiot:dohh:

pmsl mummy! men huh! hope its all sorted now :)

George loves watching the TV screen, i did start putting cbeebies on the laptop so he could see it better but he not interested, just likes the lights from the main screen lol

HV just been George gained 240g (no idea how many ounces that is lol). He still not what he should be, but he is maintaining his growth line now for 3 weeks so she said maybe he wont go back to his birth centile. His gain is spot on for the centile line he has been on since 2 weeks old, its still totally out of proportion for his length but she said not to worry he is feeding well if he is gaining :) .. ( i wasnt worried, its been her flapping lol) I think she was rushed, she said, hows the feeding going? how are you? are you depressed at all? talk about getting to the point lol she is coming back next week again, said she wants to keep an eye on his gain.

wow really? 8oz in a week is good yeah?? I dont know what my HV is fussing about lol If he was FF she said they would know exactly what he is eating and make a judgement on his 'slow weight gain' then, but because he is BF she has to just monitor him and keep him on home visits for now! Im waiting for her to suggest I go to a BF support group lol I asked again if I should suppliment his feeds, and she said no he is gaining so he is getting enough, talk about contridictory advice!

Sam hasnt gained that in a week, and they said fab weight gain in my red book?! I'm sure they make it up as they go along. :p xx

I think she only fussing so much because he was born above the 50th centile, and is now sitting steadily just above the 25th centile. She would prefer him to gain back to the 50th centile at least but he hasnt, but he is maintaining a perfect line, just not as high as he was, he isnt falling any lower so it shouldnt be a problem. I had this with Joshua, he was on the 2nd centile for as long as i remember, but so long as they maintain the line they are on then it really isnt an issue.

Oh I see, well as long as he is happy then all is well. :D xx

Lol I would class that as an awesome gain. Eilidhs latest was 12oz in a month:dohh: They are meant to gain between a half an oz to an oz a day up until 3m. As long as he's followig a centile line and not consistently dropping then I'd say you're fine, its great your hv is following you so closely though.

With supplimenting, Eilidh gained even less weight than with just bfing, I'm told that isn't uncommon.

Yeah new its all sorted, hopefully hubby was suitably embarrassed that he wont forget things like this again!

I have no idea how much Bethany weighs now, but she is getting long and chunky so I know she is gaining :haha: Waiting for the HV to get in touch, but she is a bit useless really and I can't get to the weigh in clinic, they moved it to the other end of town, my pelvis won't cope with the walk

Had dinner, it was really good, having the same thing for dinner tomorrow night too. My main plan at the moment is to eat our way through all the processed junk we have (not much left now) I'm hoping now we are starting to eat mainly home cooked food that Dylans behaviour/sleep might improve a bit more, and I'll have abit more energy, plus I love home cooked food so much <3

mummy- I was just thinking about that the other day. Just have to figure out how to prop his crib mattress.

Wiggler, way to go. I need to be less wasteful also!

Mummy, good thing your hubby got that sorted so you didn't have to spend all that money.

Love to see all of the little blinky cows on the signatures.

I haven't posted a pic of my little guy in a while, so here he is...

ps. Is it crazy that I totally miss being pregnant? I was so jealous of all the girls at Babies R Us the other day! I wouldn't give my little man back, but at the same time I miss having him with me all the time and feeling little kicks. I think it would help if I had clothes that fit me! I had some cute maternity ones and now I am in limbo. Even though I've lost a lot so far, I still can't wear my pre-preg pants. They would kill my incision! My tops don't fit over my boobs. Lol!

wild- happy 1 week to Luca :D

bizy - i miss it too :( lol & he's so adorable!

the kids had a doctor's appt this morning. Ava was 9.2 lbs and 20.5 in long. :)

we got an update about baby Weston, his mom came on to update. she said when she woke up he wasnt breathing, they tried CPR and the ER tried to revive him. they got his heartbeat back twice but wasnt able to keep it  i'm am SOO freaking scared of SIDS. i almost didnt sleep last night because i was scared i'd wake up to a lifeless Ava.

Luke is gorgeous bizy!! And I miss being pregnant so much too, and cant wait to fit in regular jeans!! xx

Thats so sad milos :(

yay for Ava growing so well:happydance:

He's adorable bizi:cloud9: its normal to miss being regnant it usually lessens though!

Lucky, we used to put the basket on the floor an prop up the top end with a rolled up towel:thumbup: Helped a bit but we needed 3 different meds in the end to control the reflux.

Wiggler, home cooked food is the best, I have some leftover homemade spinach and ricotta lasagne for lunch, my fave! Cant beat the odd takeaway though lol

Bizy - Awwwww!!!!! So cute!!

Milos - SIDS terrifies me too, I make OH stay away during night feeds in case I fall asleep feeding her. RIP baby Weston :(

I want to be pregnant again too, I am so effing broody right now it is unreal! But I am going to wait until my pelvis is better, with all this food stuff I am doing I should be able to save a nice amount too, it killed me that I couldn't get the pushchair I wanted for Bethany (OH has said I can still get it though once we are up straight with money - the parent facung feature is so important to me and she won't fit in her carseat in the travel system forever.)

I really should think about getting Bethany weighed again soon, she hasn't been weighed since she was 22 days old. I'm not worried about her weight, she is getting long and chunky, I'm just really curious. lol
