Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

Awww hun, treasure your memories :)

Oooooh wiggler JK looks like it might get a bit interesting this morning :haha:

Aww george is a star, sat quietly while I ate my breakfast, I just finished it and now he is moaning lol must be his 2nd breakfast time  least I got mine first! lol

Josh slept from 10pm until 5am! So nice to have sleep. He's done this quite a few times now so hopefully this is something that will get more frequent.

We bought him a swaddle wrap to try and help with his daytime naps because i'm rubbish at doing it with a blanket and he gets out of it so easily.

Dh is off work for a week and it's so nice to have someone else around. He's looking after him today and i'm going out for the day with my mum.

wild- He's on dr browns bottles. He was on the level 1 teats for 3month and under but i've put him on the level 2 teats which are meant for 3 months and over. He's much better and takes 4oz in one go.

Wow meow Josh is sleeping so well :) Lovely you are having a day with your mum! Hope you have a lovely week with DH.

HV is at 4pm 24, ages to wait lol

I dont think Im seeing OH today :( he is usually here by 9.30am and spends the day with us, but he did say yesterday he may not be able to make it. Gutted, only spent yesterday with him rofl but missing him as Monday has always been our day, neither of us work Mondays so we always done things together, now Im like, ermmm what do I do today then :(

 George fell asleep feeding, he came off the nipple but rested on my boob so I left him there for 10 minutes or so, he didnt wake up so I carefully put myself away and pull my jumper down, as you do. This was about 5-10 minutes ago and George, in his sleep, just took a mouthful of jumper then pulled the most disgusted face lolol i think he expected me to sit boob out for him  It didnt wake him though he still curlled up asleep on me :cloud9:

Hey ladies so sorry to hear about baby Weston heartbreaking :(
New what type of photo's are u after editing hun?
There's an app on fb called picnic or picknick that's good & easy to play around with might be worth a look? Just type it in the search bit xx

  Bethany does that too, its so funny!

I am so tired, the flat looks like a bomb has hit it, but I don't have the energy to tidy up, especially as Dylan is being so demanding today. Bethany is a sleepy bug today so I think she might be a boobly monstor tonight again. Eek! I think I'll make myself a nice strong cup of tea and then if Dylan calms down I'll get on then, if not I'll get on after he goes to bed.

I am currently on a mission not to waste food, I got on the money saving expert forum all the time and found a really intersting thread about not throwing food out. I'm doing realy well so far, its been about a week and nothing has been chucked, I'm using chicken leftovers for dinner tonight and tomorrow, froze the chicken carcass so that when I get some veg ends I can make a chicken and veg stock. Extra stuffing and tatties from our roast dinner yesterday have been frozen and our tatties that look like they are going to turn are being roasted tonight in the fat from the chicken then frozen to use on Saturday with our roast dinner :) I'm so proud of myself, and the money we are saving is incredible!

24/7- not to sound rude, but do you think maybe all your extra emotions and crying all the time or being weepy are due to postpartum depression? PPD doesn't always mean you're depressed, there are a lot of other symptoms that indicate PPD. Just from what i've read thru all the pages you seem to be crying a lot.. is everything ok? Don't take offense to me asking, its just concern.
Also maybe you should get an electric pump so you don't have to express yousrelf all the time, would save loads of time.

Both kiddies are asleep so time to load up on caffiene and tidy up, may as well do dinner now too so all I have to do is add rice and heat it up when OH gets home.

thanks Wud :flower: Ive taken a phot of george's handprint which i want on a mug, but no matter how or where i took the photo, the white paper looked greyish on screen, but Ive ordered the mug now as it is pmsl

Wow great ideas there wiggler! I was quite impressed with myself yesterday, I managed to make 2 extra roast dinners out of yesterdays cooking, so we'll have it again tonight, no wastage :) I am better than i used to be, i used to make a cottasge pie or something, use half and bin the rest, now I have much smaller oven dishes, and i make 2 one for cooking, one for freezing :)

i had a lovely surprise, heard nothing from OH so assumed he wasnt coming over, semi suspected it, but he managed to get round the new plans to pop in for a couple of hours, he was missing me too awwww and George was fast asleep when he came round so we enjoyed some adult time ;) lol way more than i had expected from today  Then george woke up and was sooooo smiley, OH was giddy with excitement lol george was cooing and doing his special little giggles for him. he's fed now OH has had to go, george is sleeping and Ive had lunch, I should tidy up for HV, but Im so tired so might have an hours nap and run round quick after school lol Living room is tidy, just kitchen looks like a laundry room pmsl

None taken hopeful, thank you. :hugs: I don't think I have PND, I don't have any of the symptoms. I'm like this after holidays/christmas for a day or so, and this is like all holidays and christmas in one and is taking abit longer to pass.

Sam has been a very busy bee today, and is just sitting or laying flapping his arms about shouting at me. And now he has hiccups, again!! :D xx

24- good, very happy to hear that! just making sure.. and i'm glad i didn't upset it was truly said for concern thats it. My LO gets hiccups a lot right as hes trying to sleep and i feel so bad that I can't do much to help.

You didn't at all. :hugs:

Sam always gets hiccups as he's going off to sleep, then wakes up and we have to start all over again. :p He seems to be really bored at the moment, like he wants to get doing but obviously can't yet.... xx

george looks at me with a real dirty look when he gets hiccups, as if its all my fault lol

Milos, how sad. Prayers are with Weston's family.

Luke slept a little better last night. He still made his groaning/grunting sounds around 4am, but we were able to mostly sleep through it. It's so strange that it happens around the same time each night. Can't believe he'll be 4 weeks tomorrow. It's going too fast!

Bethany just looks heartbroken when she gets hiccups, poor little lady and she ends up having them for ages :( She doesn't get them too often now though.

I've done a bit of searching and found a cheapie laptop which I'm going to get at some point over the next few weeks, depends when I can get to PC world, its a long walk.

Veggies are cooking now and kitchen is tidier, lounge is mainly done, just got to clear the toys off the floor and do the dusting then its ready for me to hoover when my little monkey wakes up :)

Right ladies, advice needed, while I finished off prepping dinner I remembered I have curried potato pasty filling in my freezer, I can't be bothered with pasties and I haev a HUGE amount of tuna to use up, do you think it would work if I used the potato to make tuna fishcakes?

:hi:

Luca is a week old today :happydance: i really dont know ive got him, hes such a sweetie. :cloud9: x
