Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

I HATE moths! and birds and fish. not small fish- I can handle tiny ones- but anything bigger than a banana and I get all oogy

Mummy- What kind of specialist? and can you just get weight checks there? we have a public health nurse that comes to the house to weigh the girls- it's part of the first 5 California program, but surely Az has something of the like- even just taking her to the regular Dr for a weight check-

I haven't been on in DAYS and am so far behind- maybe later I'll catch up when both the teenagers are home to hand the tiny ones off to! (Not so tiny at 8 1/2 and 9 lbs!!!)

the girls got their first shots on Thursday - add to that all three of us have had a slight cold and it's the first truly hot days here- our condo was 90 degrees inside yesterday - needless to say the girls have been a fussy handful! So we ordered a Moby- it came today and they are sleeping merrily away- I have to stay right in front of the fan so we don't get overheated, but at least they're not both screaming! :happydance:

That is the cutest pic heyy:cloud9:

 wow!! Your girls are growing so well! Eilidhs not even 7lbs yet, she gets weighed at the pediatrician every month and we see a follow on NICU nurse at our home again in july, saw her last in april and we have a nurse call us once a month from our insurance company. The specialist is the developmental pediatrician, hopefully she can shed some light on way Eilidh is so dinky.

Hope you guys get over your colds quickly:hugs:

I tried that Lucky but my scale is acting up. It says something different every time I step on it, even if it's a minute later. I think I broke it with all of my pregnancy weight gain. Lol.

heyy - gorgeous pic!

He woke up at 4.40 and has spent most of the past 50 mins screaming his head off and headbutting the drawers next to his bed, OH has moved the drawers now and we both put him back in bed loads of times and he is now playing quietly in his room, I think OH has learnt that letting him get up early even once is a bit mistake.

grrr, the banging and screaming has started again :( I'm not letting him get p til 6am though, its too damn early

**sttreettcchhhh* Morning!

Oops my gorgeous cute button nosed alarm clock made us late for school today lol It was Joshua that woke first at 8.50 lol so we ran round getting ready and George was still asleep at 9.10 as I threw him in the car  he is now awake, next to me and extrememly content lol Making so many cute cooing noises :cloud9: He's not even demanding a feed yet which is nice Im now slowly waking up lol He fed at 8.30pm, but didnt sleep until about 9/10pm but he didnt wake until 3am, and then I woke him at 9am lol

Hope everyone is ok! Wiggler did you manage to make Dylan stay in bed till 6?

Heyy wow your girls are gaining so well! And they look super snug in the Moby!

Im not as freaked out by bugs no more, I dont like them but so long as they not touching me Im ok lol Joshua wants me to take him to the local butterfly santory but ermm no thanks lol. I let the school do that pleasure lol

 Here goes JK lol... 6 potential fathers just seriously you wouldnt be on TV saying that!

Nope, the screaming was making me want to rip my bloody hair out, I caved at 5.50am. He is NOT having a nap today, no matter how much I want the oppurtunity to lay down myself. I don't know how I'm supposed to make lunch while I am this tired, lol. Trust it to be today that I am making something fancy :dohh:

Oh poop, I forgot about JK, I'll have to watch it on +1, fingers crossed I don't forget again :haha:

It wasnt that exciting actually lol just the normal JK guests

My little munchkin has fed and is snoozing lol I still have one super full boob though and its a little nippy and wow stinging nipples

George has had an appt through the post to see the paediatric doctor in september, not sure what its for, its not the same doctor as Joshua so Im assuming its not about his legs (George is going to be monitored as Joshuas condition is genetic so I MUST have passed it to Joshua, therefore possibly George too). Anyways, I think the appt is for his manly bits as his foreskin was tight at birth, but its opening itself with a bit of gentle manipulation from me (as directed by the dr at hospital before being discharged).

Mushroom, bacon and potato salad done, one child sleeping, other playing happily with his cars. Time to sit down and enjoy a nice cuppa I think :haha:

How much and how often does Luca feed wild? :D xx

so far except the first day his routine has been...

7am 3oz 10.30 4oz 1.30 3oz 6pm 3oz 9pm 3oz 11.30 3oz he then wakes at about 5am and has an ounce maximum before drifting back off ( this child hates waking in the night lol ) if i dont give him the 4oz bottle mid morning he's hungry an hour later, had the go ahead to up to 4oz for every feed, but hes not wanting more yet, but he feeds quick and drains every feed. i have to wake him for the 7am feed or he'd want feeding during school run. :coffee:

i don't know ive got him, he's a lil star, been and registered him this morning, just doing my child benefit form, then calling ctc.

mummy, i'll be about more soon, not caught up with Luca, just generally got lots on at the mo, :) xx

Aww wild he sounds so content :)

we're on day 3 of 2/3 hourly feeds but no routine he just lets me know when he is ready lol

I just ordered my dads fathers day gift off tinternet, but i put my address for postage, i meant to put my parents as i'll be there oops! he might have to have it late lol

wiggler you sound very organised there!

wiggler, This Morning have just done some tuna receipes they said they on the website. You said you had some to use lol xx

Oooh, thanks! I'll have a peek in a sec.

Just had lunch, OMG it was great, I was a little dissapointed with the rice, but was pushed for time so just did it basic, the potato salad was bloody lush though, got a little bit left, might have it as a snack later. YUM!

I'm not quite as organised as I sound, the flat looks like a bomb has hit it, but my mission for this afternoon it to make a start, the cupboards are so unorganised that everythign ends up everywhere and the flat gets messy fast :dohh:

Bethany is being good as gold today as always, and Dylan has really cheered up, today is working out quite nicely :)

ETA: Just had a peek at the tuna recipes, 2 are for tuna steaks :( and 1 is for tuna soup which sounds just as appealing as my aunts tuna bolognese   :haha:

:argh:

Hi ladies! Just stopping in for a quick moment to let you know we're all still alive. I still don't have my laptop back yet. Anberlin is 6 weeks old today and weighed 9lbs 15oz on Monday. Holy Porker!!

We're all doing well here. For those on my Facebook, unless you're faint of heart, check the link I posted this morning. I was on the same message board as that woman for 4 years.

the soup looked nice!! And the tuna steak receipes had lovely side dishes with them that I think would would with canned tuna. the humous one I think would work lovely in a pitta with tuna!

I make tomato pasta bakes with tuna in, or cold pasta salads with tuna

The tuna peice is on now, I'm still on +1, the side dishes look fab! I make tuna pasta salads, but OH refuses point blank to eat tuna and I don't want to have to make him something seperate :dohh: I suppose I could make a pasta salad then flake some tuna on top of mine and Dylans. YUM!

I've lost all my motivation to tidy, I might just sit here for a few mins and hope the cleaning fairy takes pity on me :)

Josh was good last night and didnt keep me up for hours as i thought he might.

He slept from 6:30pm waking only for a feed at 9:30pm, 2am, 5:30am and then up for the day at 9:30am!

Hiya brandi, hope you are all well xxx

you cant taste tuna in warm pasta bake lol Im the fussiest eater in the world and hate weird texture food, but I can tolarate tuna in pasta lol

Josh is really do so well with his sleeping :) do you put him to bed at a set time or take him up with you?

Maybe Luca can give Sam some tips!! :D He sounds fabby!! xx
