Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

I love my manual tt pump if that helps xx

inge- josh was like that for about 5 days and then settled again. Its horrible isn't it. Do you think it's colic? my hv recommended colief. it helps break down the milk so its not so sore for babies to digest. then you can wean him off it when his gut is more mature and can cope better. its about £10 a bottle but you might be able to get it on perscription if it works. apparently its natural and totally different to infacol etc. you can only get it from chemists.

i havent tried it yet as josh has settled again but i will do if he starts crying all the time.

24- I expect sam will settle into a routine soon. Josh has only started doing it in the last week or so.

I have the manual one, and I really like the design of it, that's why I'm looking at the electric one :). But then again, does one really need both?

Psycow, the TT electric is supposed to be one of he worst electrics on the market, make sure yu read the reveiws before you buy.

I had sweet chili pork and veg with corn on the cob and wedges for dinner, delish!

Thanks Wriggler, I had read mixed reviews in them, that's why I thought I'd ask on here.

I want an electric one, but the cost puts me off. :(

Ooooh, wiggler our CB backpayment went in today. xx

I got some CB today too, but Im not sure what it is, backpayment maybe lol Is it paid in arrearers? Ive not had any documents through the post lol

I've had no letter either, just checked the online banking at £80 been paid in. :D I only sent the form off last week!! xx

I got my CB backpayment last week, I got the letter after the paid it into my account :happydance: Waiting for the tax credits now, I hope they don't take long. It was done over the phone though so shouldn't have to wait too long.

It must be paid in arrears then lol i got £67, so as our LOs are just over 4 weeks that'll be last months payment in full as I get £80 for Joshua normally lol

my CTC and WTC was included in my next payment, I had it last week or week before.

new, don't forget its £20ish a week for first child £13ish a week for second.

Oh yea, as a few you of you mentioned you would like to cut down food waste, this is the thread that is my inspiration on MSE https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=312206 I STILL haven't thrown any food out since I started :happydance:

I get my tax credits weekly so might be getting it next week then, nice :)

It was worth having them now we are getting paid for it. xx

I knew I got less for George I didnt know how much less so wasnt sure if that was 1 months payment or 2 lol quite nice knowing its only 1 lol

I had a wonderful idea on my money saving quest, but I don't know if its taking it too far, I was thinking of going to the market once a month right before they pack up and buying up all the dodgy looking fruit and veg and preparing it then freezing it as it would dirt cheap... Hmm, its tempting, and would go hand in hand with the monthly trips OH is going to take to tesco to buy reduced stuff

why not hun!! If it helps then go for it :) hope you save loads! Im not discliplined enough, im bad enough using up fresh stuff never mind preparing and storing stuff needed to be done right away lol

So far I have saved at least a tenner and I have only been doing this a week, plus, as an added bonus we are eating the best we have ever eaten, all healthy and homemade. I must admit though, today was tough, screaming toddler, growth spurty baby AND cooking 2 meals from scratch was really tough, its days liek today I am going to like having food stocked up in the freezer that can just be shoved in the oven :)

nice one hun :) i just bought loads of fruit and natural yoghurt, im going to make an effort to get the last 15lbs off lol starting exercise too :)
