Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

I think we'll be in newborn forever:haha:

new, I totally know where you're coming from. Before my metabolism and the thyroid went all weird I was a size 18 too. Going from that to below a size 6 which I'm back to now and have been for around 6 years (obv with pregnancies in between) its quite a shock to the system. Size 12 is just right though, I'd love to wave a magic wand and stay at that, bet you look awesome!!:hugs:

Sideways poo?!

Sam has been so much fun this evening, usually he is a grump!! :D

And OH is happy too, and we finally did the deed post Sam!! xx

 yes side ways poops! I dont know how he manages it but its always the same side, yet the nappy is straight, his bum is straight in the nappy, everything looks right and a good fit but still he only poops to one side! lol His pee's are even and dont leak lol

wow that must be some drastic physical changes hun! I was hoping to get to a toned 14, so pleased with a 12, and liklihood is once Im toned I'll drop into a 10. Well this is all waist and hips lol my boobs will NEVER be a 12 ever lol Im dreading going into normal clothes as tops are going to be super hard to buy with my large boobs and small waist line, right now im in maternity/nursing vest size 12 so they accomodate the larger boobs lol

yay at a happy Sam and a happy OH! lol

Think I may go to bed, TV is pants, Im tired, George is asleep seems silly to be sat forcing myself to stay awake lol

Yeahits pretty drastic. Nothing wrong with large bust, small waist, better than small waist no bust:winkwink:

Lol at sideways poo:haha: Have a goodnights sleep.

Meow :hugs: hope Josh starts sleeping better again. It's hard when they are fussy and you can't make it better.

Mummy- wow your LO's must have had a hard time with reflux. They put Connor on Ranitidine but we quit after it did nothing for him.

my inlaws typically do call before coming over (except MIL just showed up 2 hours ago but I guess she thought she could just drop a present on the doorstep, lol... can't do that at houses with a dog in them!). I do ignore their calls a lot, but they just keep trying every day and I feel bad ignoring them.
One solution we found is for DH to take the baby over to see them without me. Not always an option or else it looks like I hate them, lol!
I do get seriously irritated hearing my MIL gush over him. She just focuses on him, gets in his face and imagines things that aren't really true about him and gushes to him about how perfect he is etc... and tells him things about himself that aren't true (this just seriously bugs me.. he's so amazing in plenty of ways, lets not get delusional about it!)... this explains a LOT about her oldest son and why he thinks the world owes him

We were only in newborn diapers for 10 days :haha: We had to upsize because the volume of his pees could not be handled by the newborns even though they fit fine.
His poops sometimes go to the side, but the trick we've found is to always make sure the ruffle is pulled out when we put a fresh one on him... the only leaks we've had are when we forget and the ruffle gets tucked in

(I WISH I was a size 12, lol!)

Sooooo sleepy this morning. My friends did come last night and brought pizza, it was delish! Bethany was so smiley, it was a lovely evening. I had the earliest night I have had since she was born too, 10.10pm

The plan for today is to catch up with the houseork before Dylan comes home, maybe have a nap too and get some cooking done.

 hey ladies. hope you all had a nice weekend. mine was alright  Ava has been doing good. she smiles a lot more now as a reaction to someone. usually if i go "ooooh" she smiles. lol. i'm 7 weeks PP and my body is extremely sore still! like, all over. my body feels like it's falling apart
tomorrow i have to call Early Intervention to return a voicemail they left, so i can have milo tested for speech delay and autism. i've been chatting with a bunch of moms with autistic children in a Austism Chat thread. i've shown them videos and they feel confident that Milo will be on the spectrum with what they've seen and have gone through with their own children. the chance of the second child also having autism raises by 20%. i'm hoping Ava is fine. somewhere deep down i feel like she will be. i've always had a gut feeling when Milo was born that he would have something "wrong" with him.
milo makes me feel so stressed out everyday. by the end of the night i usually just wanna get up and leave and never come back. and OH doesnt make anything better. i feel so blahhh all the time :?

:hugs: milos, hope the appt is informative hun xxx

wiggler glad you had a lovely evening!

I feel very lucky not having in laws to deal with as well as my own famiky, although OHs family are lovely.

George is little fussy today but not so much, he's just drifting off to sleep although he had his first proper laugh at OH which we both heard which was just lovely :cloud9: OH has made a lovely bolegnese sauce for mine and Joshuas dinner tonight, it smells gorgeous mmmmmm

mmm where's mine new

when did u get first smile's ladies? and how about focusing in on you,

Luca is going less cock eyes now when trying to look at us, he's been very alert ne way since birth and his head is stupidly steady and holding it really well, mw calls hima show off :haha:

I think George has been smiling since 3-4 weeks, and was certainly engaging then, mainly just with Joshua though. Now he really makes eye contact with anyone, and will search out me, Joshua or OH if he hears us in the same room, even if we behind him, he looks round. He has been making lovely coo noises in the last week and is very chatty, but today we had a real laugh/giggle was gorgeous :cloud9:

Bethany started smiling around 4 weeks old, and following us with her eyes around the same time, she's not very chatty though, she is very quiet, rarely cries, on the few times she does cry she proper sobs, its heartbreaking :(

aww new sounds lush, i love them at that stage :cloud9: Luca is 2 weeks today, blimey how and where did the time bloody go. eakkk

i think another week and he'll be looking at us more, im sure the girls were smiling by 4 weeks, but they wernt as late as him lol. dh is desperate for his smiles and i said this morning, im sure uve got 10-14 days ish wait yet atleast lol lol

I got a photo of a smile last week George was 4 weeks, and a video of the boys engaging together, all before he was 5 weeks, my HV said he was too young, but you cant argue with the video you can see him engaging with joshua then cooing. I tried to put it on here its only 30secs but I didnt know how too.

George doesnt cry much at all, just makes a moan noise occassionally lol When do they typically get their tears?
