Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

Fab wiggler. :D
New, what a strange turn of event?!

Sam is laying completely naked, not even a nappy on, on the floor and has been for the last half an hour and he is soooo happy. :D Just one small wee incident. xx

George LOVES naked play time lol for some odd reason we dont get too much pee pee incidents either lol yet you do a quick nappy change while he fully clothed and Im in my clothes no protection to hand and pee pee everywhere, even poops! lol

How you getting on with your floordrobe wiggler?? lol I got my summer clothes out yesterday (little bit of sun and out come the legs rofl) anyways, nothing fit!! I put it all away to get back in to, denim shorts and skirts I new wouldnt date, but didnt fit me when I put my weight on, and all my tops, but its all too big :( Ive got back into and fallen right out of it pmsl I'll have to go get myself some 3/4s or something, I literally have 2 pairs of jeans to my name and I live in nursing vests lol i need some variation!

I think I would have choosen pool over laundry mummy lol Is it not cooler in the pool?

Mission floordrobe was cancelled, its far too hot! I just supervised OH removing the junk from the garden though so I did something productive :haha:

hmm its about as cool as a pool in that heat can be! I dont want be out in that heat and the thought of a swimming costume:argh:

New that sucks about your clothes, guess new wardrobe needed..

Wiggler:thumbup: yay for being productive!

So, Zoe is home from her opthamology appointment. Her fever came back mid-appointment. Thank god we brought Tylenol with us.

Anyway, her vision is going in her left eye now too. In October, her vision was 20/20 in both eyes. In May, her vision was 20/30 in her right eye and 20/20 in her left eye. Now she's 20/40 in her right eye and 20/30 in her left eye.

Since we can't patch both eyes, Zoe is getting glasses with two different prescriptions. Her right eye will have a stronger prescription as we really want her brain to remember her right eye, and we'll follow up again in two months.

She did not want to cooperate with selecting a pair, downright refused to try some on until I called my mom and my mom pretended to see her wearing the glasses. She picked a really cute purple pair. They had a promotion on, two pairs for the price of one, and because her disability benefits covered her glasses, we got two pairs. That way, if one breaks, we have a backup pair. We still have to pay a little extra because we're getting cable temples put on so that it's more difficult for her to pull them off.

I really hope this works, because next step will be patching one eye at a time.

Her glasses will be ready on Thursday. Guess I better start wearing mine again.

Mummy - No, she's not on any seizure medication anymore. She was on clobazam but it caused severe sleep and behavioural issues so we weaned her off. She was left on the Ativan for emergencies only, if a seizure lasts longer than 5 minutes. Her CP seizures are few and far between so her neuro doesn't think it's necessary to medicate right now.

is anyone else still bleeding? I'm really sick of it! Its not heavy, but I don't want to have sex until it stops (not that I mind the excuse to avoid DTD :haha:)
just curious if I'm the only freak here :haha:

I just bled for two weeks then had a yellowy discharge for a couple of weeks. xx

I bled for about 5 1/2 weeks, it did feel like it was never going to end!

Plan for this week - Get the garden sorted! Getting a lawnmower today, some grass seed and hand tools then Turhday we order the table, chairs and parasol! I can't wait to have it done!

I've gone back and skipped though about 30 pages- goodness you ladies chat up a storm! I miss talking to you all but can't seem to find the time until I'm bleary eyed (like now  ) I do get to facebook more often, if any of you want to hit me up there- email to search for is [email protected] - but you'll have to let me know who you are! :)

New- whatever came of the rings?

Mummy- I don't know how you handle the heat there- it was 97 here last week and I thought I was going to die- of course we live upstairs with no central air

Brandi- I hope Zoe is on the mend- it's so nerve wracking when there sick, and then for that cow of a nurse to ignore you!

Wild- Happy belated birthday!

Wiggler- how goes the housing situation? Have you been moved up the list at all?

Pictures of the girls crashed out during tummy time this morning- I have no idea what they weigh now, I'm guessing coming up on 10 lbs- but we used the last of the newborn huggies today and have graduated to a size one!

Fab plan wiggler. :D

Hey the girls are so cute, and so obviously little girls. xx

Hiya hey, your girls are gorgeous! OH took the day off work and came to see what I was talking about he swears he hasnt searched them on my computer, he logged into his account and showed me his search list, we dont know what it is about. They are still coming up on my Ebay now and Ive searched millions of stuff since then... strange! Oh they also coming up with searches for thimbles  we havent searched those either lol

I walked up to school today then down into town, and george was wide awake so I put him forward facing in the carrier so he could look around. We hadnt got to the end of the street befire he fell asleep lol He ALWAYS drops off instantly in that darn carrier lol I thought he'd stay awake if he could see where he was going lol When we got home he woke up and is so happy and chatting away lol I need to cut his nails today, we just got rid of the most of his spots/rash and the little tyke has scratched himself in the night and has a gash right in the middle of his forehead! lol

How did Sam sleep hun? Have you been to the sensory play yet? We are going to our first Amser Twf group tomorrow - Im going to attempt to learn basic Welsh to play with George lol

have fun in the garden Wiggler, its gorgeous weather here today so we'll head to the park after school me thinks :)

Sam slept well, especially in the heat!!
We went to baby play last week, but Sam refused to wake up, lol!! Trying again on friday.... xx

Hello ladies,

Haven't been on in a few days.

24- How's Sams eye? Is he being less clingy now?

Got the HV coming today to talk about the mum and baby group to see if i want to go. Hopefully i'll pluck up the courage to go because it gets a bit lonely with no friends!

We went out last night and Josh was so naughty for my mum. He screamed solidly for 2 hours and we had to come home early. We think he had tummy pains as we used the avent bottles instead of the Dr Browns and he's never normally that bad in the evenings.

Got his jabs, his 8 week check and my 6 week check tomorrow. Hopefully he won't get upset by them too much or be too grizzly afterwards. I've made DH get the day off as i'm a wimp with injections :haha:

well... i've just filled the pan to the brim 3 times, i over dosed on the meds last night, and now feel 2 stone lighter  my top which was tight round the bloat now looks stretched and like it belongs to sum 1 else, would appear blockage got thru, going to take the less harsh meds for a few more days to make sure. fingers x'd ne ways lol

re the bleeding, i stopped bleeding at 16 days, ( was only heavy for about 12 hours, since then a slim pad has been sufficent, and very rarely bled much) i bled so badly with all the others aswell so was totally shocked.

meow avent bottles are pritty good and supposed to be anti collic, i swear by them x

I swear by them too. Anberlin won't take from any bottles but Avent, so I've got a crapload of Playtex bottle and liners to get rid of. Perhaps I'll sell them and buy more Avent. We only have 5 small bottles and 3 big bottles, and she's at the 5oz mark. The 4oz bottles fit 5oz, but I think we need to upgrade, lol.

Zoe still has her fever. 105 again this morning. Advil is in, antibiotics are in and we go for a followup this afternoon. I'm kind of sad about that because I have to miss the last Baby and Me. Thursday will be our very last playgroup date. They close for the summer and I won't be able to return in September.

Zoe's going to get her pupils fitted for her glasses this morning. Exciting! Her glasses will be ready today, but I don't get paid until Thursday. Maybe I'll just force Mike further into overdraft to get them. We should really be starting them now.

Hope everyone has a great day!

:hugs: to Zoe and mummy.x

im lucky mothercare had a fab sale on avent bottles after xmas, i stocked up on them

It's about $25 (15.87 GBP) for 3 9oz bottles here or $10 (6.35GBP) each individually.
