Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

New, Sam's arms are completely useless really still too. xx

George has cut inside his ear! I had an awful panic on then his ear was bleeding, but seems he has scratched it because he keeps pulling it. Im not sure if its just curiousity because its in his way when flapping his hands about or if it is hurting him. Its not red or showing any signs of discharge nor does he have a temperature or fever. Is anyone elses LOs pulling at their ears just because they are there and stick out? He only pulls this one, not the other :dohh:

Sam hasn't found his ears but he has his mouth and nose and won't leave them alone now!! Poor George!! xx

Bethany hasn't found her ears yet but is obsessed with sucking her hands :haha:

24- Yeah that's me! :)

Josh sucks his hands all the time too. His new thing is to stick his tongue out and make "eh eh" noises really loudly lol

george sucks his hand too lol and he's obsessed with poking his tongue out lol I might just get his ears checked tomorrow by the doctor, make sure its not an infection or something he's still pulling at it now, although he is happy as anything and doesnt seem in pain. Will only take a Dr 2 minutes to check though eh!

Aww meow thats really cute:cloud9: Hope he sleeps well for you again soon.

Eilidh does suck her hads alot but other than that they dont do much, she doesnt really open them either, just fists all the time, her head control is pretty none existent and tummy time she cant move her head ( my thinking is comparitively big head to tiny body:wacko:) We are getting a call to set up physio now incase it is a result of her prematurity. Weigh in was not brilliant, 8lb 11oz, apparently she was 8lb 6oz not 8lb 5oz last week, she had a 4oz bottle and a breastfeed right before she was weighed too. Back to the GI doc for next weeks weigh in and they want at least an oz a day. She's still 21in too, I guess she may get out of newborn clothes by 6months, currently with her size and delay in physical skills she is just like a newborn, but she behaves like much older baby with her social skills.

New, I hope George's ear gets better soon!

Im sorry her weight wasnt quite what you hoped hun, here's hoping she gains her oz a day this week. Hope the physio helps her too, poor little princess is going through so much already hope everything starts settling down soon :hugs:

Mummy - :hugs: Sorry her weigh in wasn't what you hoped for :hugs: I hope her next one goes better.

I have roughly one hour/an hour and a half until my mother turns up and I'm not dressed, Dylans not dressed, the flat is a tip and I can't be bothered to move. lol.

Got my 6 week checkup with Bethany today, fingers crossed it goes well.

I thought AF was here yesterday but now I'm confused and she obviously is not, but still having period cramps. :dohh:

Morning :)

I managed to get George a GP appt this morning just to check his ear, he is still pulling it, although he is all smiles. Im sure its only because he's found it and it sticks out, but I'd rather a Dr tell me this than me take the risk of ignoring an infection, from experience with Joshua I know this is a bad idea as he temporarily lost his hearing on one side, and still has some pressure in there now and its been 10 months!

Seems Sam has now found his ears new, just picked him up and hes screatched it and its bleeding. :p xx

Happy 2 months Sam :hugs: for your mummy xxxxx

Both boys found their ears on their 2 month mark lol Dr said his ears are fine just keep on top of his nails because he has scratched inside his ear, she said he may start pulling the other one too, its just because its something new and he wants to look at it lol Wish he'd hold rattles instead they far more entertaining lol

Sam's is inside too, bleugh!! :p Nice that the twins celebreated in the same way. xx

Sorry to hear about the poorly babies glad they are on the mend!
Hope Eilidh continues to gain more weight must b such a worry for u!
Well i've got Livi's injection appointment through & it's at 9am right ontop of the school run so gonna have to change it x

Dear boobies,

I may hate how you look and how saggy you are, but thank you for making my daughter a nice chunky monkey. 10lb 14oz is a great weight and makes me very very happy.

Love from the person you are attached to :)

Aww new, glad the gp appointment went well, you defo did the right thing ear infections are not to be messed with! Yeah hopefully yours and 24's little guys will move on quickly from ears to toys lol.

Wiggler, did you manage to get sorted in time for your mum?

I'm off the list for 2013 atm, we decided 2015 would be better so going to get a coil hopefully on friday, I'm sure I'll probably just skip a baby with you lot and meet you on the next so prob #6 for wild:winkwink:

Wud, its annoying isnt it when appointments get made for really inconvenient times?!

Hubby surprised me last night, he somehow remembered a dress I'd seen online a gorgeous 1920's vintage dress and bought it for me:cloud9: He was ever so pleased with himself, unfortunately the dress is slightly too small:dohh: With bfing and pumping so much my chest is apparently bigger than usual lol

I dont get how I have what seems to be the heaviest baby, yet he is in the smallest clothes?! :p xx

My mum turned up really early, we ended up chatting and was late to the doctors, but luckily the dr was running late too. We had a lovely mooch around town, lunch at KFC and then came home and its was so nice to have some quality time with my mum.

Bethany is now in size 3 nappies and in some 3-6 clothing! She is a chunker!

Sam is still in newborn and size 1 nappies?! Yet he was 10lbs14oz at 6+3. xx
