Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

When we're eating and he's not he looks round at us and opens his mouth waiting and looks confused. When he doesnt get he goes all cranky. We only eat when he cant see now lol Joshua had an ice cream earlier and George kicked and really temper screamed lolol

Haha, George sounds like a greedy piggy :haha:

Well when OH got home me and my neighbor went to Tesco to grab some bits, it was the longest I had been away from Bethany and the first time OH had been alone with both kids. The smiles and cuddles I got from the kids when I got home was lovely :cloud9:

at 3.5 months milo knew what food was and looked interested in our eating. which is why i started rice cereal at 4 months with him. so far ava just sometimes looks, but doesnt act excited about food like milo did. lol.

i am seriously going to go crazy. milo drives me nuts! he is so loud all day and is constantly waking up Ava. he fights his naps for hours. i turn off the lights, shut the blinds, turn the tv to low so it's not so loud. but then he starts banging and stomping, yelling, rasberrying, etc. then when i try to hold him to get him to settle down he gets mad and pushes me away. then he starts a meltdown because i wont play with him.
its like this everyyy day :dohh:

new - when do you feed him cereal usually?

with milo i started plain rice cereal once a week at 4 months. then at 5 months i started giving it to him every other day for breakfast, with stage 1 fruit mixed in. when i bumped him up to two feeding a day, i gave it to him for breakfast and dinner.
if he's ready for it, then adding two feeding a day shouldnt do anything. maybe sit him with you guys at dinner time and feed him cereal, he'll feel like he's eating with the family :)

Hiya hun, is Milo still a nightmare at bedtime too? Maybe he is ready to drop the naps and settle into a better night time routine?

George has rice at about 11am-1pm depending where he is due. He takes the rice and then has a full 2 boob feed, then feeds again 3 hours later and by the next feed he is really stroppy for food and Im thinking he wants more than milk but I dont want to over do the rice either, he's only 3 months. It has worked in that it has boosted his appetite, as he was slipping to 5-6 hourly feeds, but it hasnt helped with the weight gain.

Stupid intercom went off again in the early hours for the second night in a row then I couldn't get back to sleep for hours so I am a tired mess again today. I hope it doesn't go ooff again tonight, I need to be bright and alert for the council meeting tomorrow.

Bethany was such a grump this morning, she woke up at about 5am and wanted constant feeding until nearly 7am! Little piggy :haha: I'm really hoping that Dylan and Bethany have a nice nap this afternoon so I can catch up with some sleep, but if not I'll just have a nice early night :D

Can't believe Livi (& George ;) are 3 months tomoro?
Livi has started watching us eat ha ha especially fancies a bag of crisps x

I know, 3 months is so old! Im trying to encourage George to roll but he totally not interested lol Is Livi wanting to roll? Have you been tempted to give Livi anything to eat?

OMG talk about not being interested to roll he just did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMFG brb

 he wouldnt do it again lol He got cranky because he couldnt get his arm from under his body bless him. I think talking to him was distracting him, will put him down again later or tomorrow but ssshhhhh and may get it on film for OH :) awwwww im all flushed with pride now he has seriously just not shown any attempts to try before lol

YAAAAAAAAAAAY George!!!! Thats brilliant!!!

Bethany has been doing little laughs for a while now but I just got her to do the cutest giggle :cloud9: She has been a bit of a grump today so that giggle was totally out of the blue. She is now giving me huge grins :D

GO GEORGE!!:happydance: New thats awesome:hugs: Really hope you get in on film for his daddy to see, your OH is going to be so proud:cloud9: If he seems still hungry maybe try him with extra ice at teatime, if he dont want it he'll refuse, eilidh defo lets us know if shes interested.

Wiggler, hope you get that nap, got everything crossed for you meeting tomorrow:hugs: Those gigges sound adorable, hows Dylan today?

Wud, lol crisps:haha: You think 3 months is bad, Eilidh was 5 months yesterday

Milos:hugs: How is he today?

24, hows your hubby? Those riots look scary!

Eilidh got her blood stolen yesterday, daddy held her this time and she was very brave, resultsnext week. She has the nurse coming to weigh her in an hour so fingers crossed!

Oh fingers crossed for her weigh in hun :hugs: She is so brave having all these bloods done, hows mummy holding up?

Wiggler how cute at her giggles :cloud9:

Ok advice needed lol... George is keen on his water beaker, its a soft teat but definitely designed more like a non spill cup than a bottle (infact will go find it online in a second lol) he is managing occassionally to get the water out, when he does he loves it, when he cant he gets frustrated but takes the water well off a spoon instead. Should I stick with the beaker until her gets it, or buy a bottle for his water? He holds the beaker and gets it to his mouth, and is generally interested in it, just gets mad at it when the water come out every time he wants it lol

You could get a bottle with handles then he can still do it himself. xx

I just saw on that site that they do a weaning bottle, but the teat looks the same to me??

|Would having the water in a bottle cause any of the wind problems that come with bottle feeding? Or will the infrequent use not really cause them sort of problems? I guess thats my biggest concern, as he doesnt need a lot of water.

Thanks new:hugs: I'm doing ok, just want answers. I think I'd probably stick with the cup you have, if he gets the water out occasionally he'll master it in no time.

Just made peanut butter cookies to make the house smell nice

 cant do the smell of peanut butter lol

Joshua has gone out with a friend and her mum to watch a film, so George and I are off for a peaceful soak in the bath :cloud9:

Sam doesnt get windy from water, and from the look of the handles on the cup it would fit on the normal tt bottles too. :) xx

Dylan hasn't been too bad today, he has had a few hissy fits but nothing major, he is currently demanding tea and getting a bit iffy cos I won't give him any. lol. Bedtime in 10 mins. YAY!!!!

Think you might be right 24, Im sure the cup actually takes a bottle lid too, I THINK lol

Had an awesome soak mmmmmm George loved it too, no rushing or nagging lol Then he got out, fed and is fast asleeps :) Joshua is still out so now I got me time, I think I may do my hair :)

Oh this TV trailor looks interesting .. oh its Torchwood, I never watched that lol thought it was the start of a new programme, oh well my Sky+ is full enough lol
