Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

This rioting is awful. These scumbags need a dosage of rubber bullets. :(

I hate this country :nope:

The rioting is hitting loads of other cities and towns now and has nothing to do with the shooting last week, this is just mobs going over board, the protest re the shooting was peaceful and controlled! Grrrrrr

Hope everyone is well :)

George isnt anywhere near ready for a bumbo. He is only just starting to hold his head up, and still droops a bit down but he is getting there :) He isnt rolling or showing any signs that he may start any time soon. He does hold his hands in the middle all the time though and has started picking things up and holding small rattles and today held his water beaker :)

Any news on Elidhs tests hun? Hope you are getting some answers, hows her weight doing?

Has Livi been swimming? I really must take the boys but I hate swimming so keep putting it off lol

Glad your pelvis is a little better wiggler :)

24 hope your DH keeps himself safe hun xxx

Here is a photo from the infamous wedding I was pampering myself for lol and a couple of the little man with his cheeky smile and new beaker :)

Heyy, enjoy the sleep:sleep:

24:hugs: hope your hubby is kept safe xx

Milos, will go look!

Wiggler, I agree with bullets. These chavs are just ruining it for all of you :(

New, wow! You look amazing! Your boys are adorable too:cloud9: Yay for george holding things:happydance: The developmental person said that holding their hands in the middle is a sign they're developing well at this age.

Eilidh's blood test results will be got on the 16th and then neurologist on the 19th sept. We got told off for using the bumbo yesterday:blush:

Eilidh's next weigh in is thursday am with the nurse, aiming for as close to 10lb as we can get but shes been through a lot this week so not execting much. How's Geores weight doing?

Awwww thats quite some time for the results, hope they are good, but have answers for you hun :hugs: Good to know they hands things is a good sign, thank you! The dress ended up being too big still lol, nice to know though I worked hard to make sure I fitted in it :) Hope Elidhs weight is ok on Thursday hun, George had his weigh and injections yesterday, he gained 12oz in 3 weeks so still only 4oz a week with rice feeds, but it was the minimum she wanted from him and he achieved it so not too bad, so long as he keeps this up they'll leave him alone I think. They expected more from him now he is taking solids but we'll just give it some time.

I'm sat here hungry cos Tesco didn't deliver my shopping, now we have to spent out MORE money cos we have nothing in for breakfast tomorrow :(

Just checked the Tesco website and it says it was delievered... WHY AM I HUNGRY WITH EMPTY CUPBOARDS THEN?!

I would have someones head on a platter if they didn't deliver my food! did you pay in advance??

from what i see on the news it looks as though half of london is burning, and sounds like the rioting is spreading about everywhere- i hope everyone is ok!

have gone out and done some more shopping today- working on plussing up the girls clothing supply through 12 month sizes (I only buy clothing on way sale or gently used so I colloect them as I find them) but I also found me 2 pairs of shoes clearanced out for $4.50!
Charlotte slept 11 1/2 hours again :happydane: fx this is the new norm!

New, sounds like he's coming on:thumbup: How does he like solids? Yeah I didn't know about the hands thing but apparently its a big sign they developing well! Eilidhs test results are 16th of this month sorry so only a week to wait, she gets the second of blood taken tomorrow :(

Wiggler, omg I'd be pissed! Did you eventually get your food?

Hey, good bargains! I have all of Anja's clothes for Eilidh but love a bargain:haha: Do you have a buy buy baby near you? I was passing time there last week and found super cute great quality halloween costumes 70% off! Eilidh is going to be a fuzzy cat lol. Great sleeping there too!

Nopes, didn't turn up and we have nothing in, we did have a nice stash of frozen food, but my stupid freezer defrosted and ruined all the food so I just got a few bits in to last till tonight. I'm ringing up first thing in the morning after OH gets us sme breakfast. Its so annoying... Tesco are normally pretty good.

Yuck, I'm tired but can't sleep, hungry and ill. Sucks to be me right now. lol. At least my kiddies are sleeping well :cloud9:

Oh not too long to wait then mummy, hope her 2nd lot go ok :( poor little lady bet she just wants to be left alone by now! George loves solids He only has a tiny amount in the afternoon, Ive been adding a tinier amount of pure fruit to it too because that rice stuff is gross lol but I didnt want to have any additives yet so keeping him on rice and 100% fruit. Least this way he is getting flavours, he had strawberry, pear, apple, plum his fav has been banana & strawberry.

Hope you got plenty of great bargins Heyy! Im trying to keep a size ahead, but George has totally just stopped growing in size and I have no idea what he'll be in what season so Ive not bought too much lol I did buy some clothes off here, a winter set in 3-6 but it arrived as 0-3 months :( the trousers will never fit him lucky this is a British August he may get a little wear out of the jumper, then some 6-9 month tops and they are all stained :( I never had a bad experience from buying on here before.

Wiggler thats crap about Tesco! I'd kick of such a fuss. Have they brought all their drivers in because of the rioting? Even so though they could have told you! Hope you get it sorted.

Oh oh oh 11am and baby is finially awake, i slept in till 10.30am ha ha best go get him xxxx

Rubbish about the clothes, I ordered something on here a while ago and the vest part had poo stains on it - Stopped buying after that. :(

Hope George starts growing again soon new, and the solids help - When will you move him on from baby rice? xx

Oh not sure when to move him. I'll increase the rice to twice a day, then maybe give one with just fruit as a pudding so it'll be weeks away before i switch to other things I think. He is showing signs of wanting the rice twice a day but I dont know what to do.

Well Tescos got back to us, turns out it was a problem with my card. I checked my account and a shiteload of interest was bunged on my account so I had £10 less than the order was in there. Oh well, sent OH shopping :D

Sorry to hear about the clothes, its stuff like that which puts me off buying second hand clothes online, I normally get them from car boots now.

OH came home from work yesterday with a HUGE load of toys given to him by a colleague, and a highchair. First glance the highchair looked great, padded, comfy then looked closer and under the tray is covored in mould and the fabric is all ripped. I can't believe they would give it away in that state :nope:
I'm really chuffed with the toys though, Dylan LOVES them!!!!

Buying this soon! I want to get Bethany used to sitting with us at mealtimes and she has started trying to sit up in her rocker so it will be good for her to have a chair thairs more upright, and its still reclinable which is fab!

Aww wiggler that sucks with tesco, at least you got some shopping though. How awful with the highchair, some people have no shame, yay for the toys though!

24 poo stains?! gross! I use all Anjas old clothes for Eilidh but I know I only keep the decent stuff, how anyone things its ok to sell gross stuff is beyond me.

New, Eilidh is back having her rice of an evening, she sometimes has it of a morning I find she'll shout at us if she sees us having breakfast so I have to get her a little too:haha: I'm sure George will let you know on the days he fancies seconds. I wish we didn't have to take Eilidh today :(

Off for school run now and its already stupid hot..

We are getting a highchair too very soon for the same reasons, and a toothbrush to make brushing part of the nightime routine before he can decide to hate it. :D xx

The teethbrushing early on works:thumbup:

Grr the stalker got to me on the school run, bragging about how her (completely able) husband got approved for disability:growlmad:

Hope Elidhs appt goes ok hun :hugs:

Wiggler grrrr on the high chair, but that one looks fabby :) Glad you got to the bottom of the Tesco stuff, stoopid banks huh!

How will I know to move George from once a day to twice with the rice? Im worried I'll do it too early but he seems so ready for it, and gets so cranky with us if he see's us eating lol

I gave Joshua a toothbrush really on too, it really did seem to help. He a bit of a pain now about brushing his teeth but mum assures me its a phase and it goes with the having to crow-bar him into the bath too lolol When Joshua was little he'd wash his hands and brush his teeth every time he went to the bathroom, but the dentist said it was ok so long as he only used a tiny amount of toothpaste, he said it was better to let him than try and restrict him, he soon stuck to morning and bedtime lol

Wow, George does sound ready - Sam has no interest at all in food or us eating, just loves milk. :p

Fingers crossed my toothbrush plans work.... :D xx
