Yes thats what george is like, he doesnt always finish the bowl, so he stops when he is full right?? He is never sick or upset after either! he only has 2 teaspoons of fruit, but 3-4oz of milk mixed rice it isnt a lot really when you look at it in the bowl. I thought 1 ice cube wasnt a lot, from what i remember you use 1 ice cube of carrot, 1 of potato, 1 of another veg etc and mix it altogether. Oh well lol Maybe proper food is different rules to rice?

Aww thanks 24, is Sam still happy on milk? George would be a beanpost if he was still on milk he takes so little!

I hope that Elidh does have a great weight gain hun xxxx

Sam just loves milk, and has no interest in food, and only has 6oz bottles, so plenty more oz to add yet. I hope when he is weaned he sleeps better!! xx

Aww yeah he may do hun. I looked at rusks today but left them there lol He is too little but I just no he'll love them when he gets them tee hee plus rusks is a great tummy settler for longer sleeps at night lol Im lucky already but I'll take anything extra i can

3.5 hours is Sam's limit, so I expect big improvements when it comes to weaning! xx

We have to wake Eilidh in the night and she just clamps her mouth and refuses to feed She would go 9-6 easy with no waking if up to her lol. I'm of the opinion they let you know what they need generally. Eilidh definately doesn't like to feed when not hungry but heaven forbid you dont give her enough Some babies just do better on solids too, I've had all kinds of different babies With the ice cube I'm thinking you're right and its to be able to mix them and maybe just easier to store like that?

Off on school run, hopefully wont melt

I didnt give George his rice this morning as I couldnt work out if he was hungry or really bunged up, and no poops for a few days I decided BM and water for today, but he unbunged so he had his rice this afternoon as always. I added the veg in it again, with some milk made up ready incase he refused it like yesterday, but I couldnt get it in fast enough for him lol No hands in the way, no messing and playing he just sat with his mouth open and cleaned the bowl with 3oz of milk, think i will have to start making his food with 4oz so he can stop when he is ready, not when I have run out lol

Gave George a bottle today too for his water, omg totally under estimated the difference in feeding he could not work out how to get anything from it at all. In the end we got it so he messes with the teat and chomps on it etc while I press in the bottom bit so water sprays out lol Think I need to make sure he getting enough water, his stools werent really hard, but they were part solid part loose not pastey like they started off when he was having rice, guess thats the fruit and veg?

Ive been sat in all day today waiting for a parcel. According to the website it'll be here between 7am - 5.30pm, as it is now 5pm it had better hurry up! I'll be annoyed if it doesnt come as George was a little restless this afternoon (pre-poop) and I wanted to go out for a walk to settle him but didnt I waited in for the damm unimportant parcel! lol Unlucky for them, their customer service number is open until 8pm so they'll be getting a piece of my mind if it doesnt arrive in the next 30 minutes! lol

Well after three weeks of not seeing Sam, OH has had two days off and seeing them together is amazing, and Sam hadn't forgotten him atall!! He just loves his Daddy so much!! xx

Less than 2 weeks and we get OH to ourselves for an entire day!!!!!

A little bit. We've seen him, and his boy, socially and the older boys have played together a few times, but Ive had very limit hugs and kisses Normality will soon be resumed!

5th september isnt too far away hun, thats when I got to wait till xxx

New, only 2 weeks for regular time with your OH Eilidh's poops are half solid, they kind of mould to her buttcrack Solids have helped her go regularly though. Glad you got your parcel, I hate waiting in for things as invariably I miss them.

No melting as of yet but was close this morning, got some sunburn through my factor 100! We ended up walking to a coffee shop and to walgreens for chocolate Stalker starting to pester again, she seems to have gained some new cronies who are even more rough Hope to god they dont start up as well

i went to have a consultation with a surgeon today to have my gallbladder removed. i go friday for pre-surgery testing. and then my surgery is on tuesday at 1pm. OH plans on taking a half day on tuesday, then if i can leave the same day (usually an out-patient surgery) i'll go back to my moms and have her watch the kids for me. and then OH will be off work on wednesday so he can watch the kids. i'll be on lifting restrictions for awhile. so it'll be tough once i have no help

wow milos that is so quick I really hope the pre-op goes well! Try eat nothing bad, surgery is far more complicated if the gallbladder is inflamed so basics for a week hun Glad its going to get sorted!

Its 115 degrees here today, it was just horrendous doing the school run in that, sweat just dripping off and burning. Really hope it cools even a bit soon.
