Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

That reminds me, I need to weigh myself tomorrow :)

Lol i'm scared of the gym:haha: Yeah the calorie burn goes up until it peaks around 4-6m before they begin solids, man that period is brutal.

Wiggler, we're getting there. I just got back from the docs, got some antibiotics and some migraine meds, he wanted me to go into a dark quiet room but i doubt my kids would appreciate that!

I've had nausea for a few days as well now, very odd.

Me too :) i weighed myself on the Wednesday morning before going in for my induction so tomorrow will be exactly 2 weeks... up to weekend I had lost 27lbs :) Kinda hoping Ive tipped the 2 stone bracket, but also trying to remember that my body probably went into shock after birth and BFing etc and now its probably stabilising so I may have put a little back on or maintained!

I'm glad you are all starting to feel better, fingers crossed you are all back to normal very soon.

Nausea? could you be preggo? It's not 2013 yet missy! :p

Oh mummy, thats not good, glad you have meds! Will DH not step in so you can hide in that dark room? Plenty of ginger for the nausea :hugs:

i love the gym, but wont be back there for a very long time! lol Ive just ordered Zumba fitness for the wii.... that'll be me soon lol... do I HAVE to wait until the 6 week check?

I've been wondering about the 6 week thing too, I want to get on my exersize bike!!

I just read online (please be lies like most of the stuff online) that relaxin takes about 5 months to leave your system after preganny, BOOOOOOO!

Pregnant  nah I still like cups of tea lol thats the first thing to go. Really need to work on contraception though but I dont tend to ovulate the first year of bfing, then I get pregnant lol.

Hubby would help in a heartbeat but he works all the time :( He does a 80 hour week most weeks.

New, lol I thought you meant you went for your gym induction, I totally misread that, was very impressed  You dont need to wait for 6 weeks either, as you had a natural birth its pretty much when you feel up to it but be careful doing high impact or anything involving the stomach. I walk a lot as cant drive so waiting 6 weeks was never gonna happen..

Wth is zumba?

I never found relaxin to take that long. My spd has finally settled now at 2 1/2 months and I felt that to be longer than usual. Google is evil..

Mmm tea, I do like a good cuppa. I'm on decaff at the moment, its really nice but leaves the most gross aftertaste :(

Whats relaxin wiggler???

lol mummy nooo I had my induction there a long while ago lol but cant go back with a baby! I may try my zumba when it arrives lol Im so keen to tone the tummy up its all that just given birth squishy stuff but the rest of me is shrinking daily (except boobs) lol

I heard BFing was a natural contraception? Maybe not one Id like to rely on though

Decaff tea is vile, I'm bad I have regular tea and regulr coffee:blush: Just have to make sure I stop before 3 and dont go overboard. I love love love tea and coffee though. A little milk and lots of sugar:cloud9:

Haha I know google is evil, but my SPD didn't feck off til Dylan was 18 months (it was still sore after 18months, but nowhere near as bad) so I was looking up to see how things might be this time. If my pelvis is permenantly damaged then I'm ok with that, as long as I can be more active for the kids

Zumba is a dance fitness craze taking over lol but it does look cool. they have groups all over but again not something I can do with a baby, so I bought a wii fitness 'game' which teaches you how to do it, and then has dance tracks on to work out too lol Its a fitness game (like a fitness dvd) really! Oh how weird, there was just an advert for it on tv then lol

relaxin is the vile hormone that loosens you up in pregnancy :(
Mmmm tea with 3 sugars is the best :cloud9: Also coffee with coffe mate in and 3 sugars.. YUM!

I dont like tea or coffee really, but I'll drink tea if it is given to me without sugar though lol I need to drink more, still not getting all my fluid for this feeding lark, Im rubbish at drinking lol

Wiggler:hugs: I hope your pelvis does go back to normal or at least close. What about a chiroractor, they may be able to do something?

Bfing is about as effective as condoms when used right as in no supplements, baby under 6m and no longer than 4 hours between feeds during the day and 8hours at night. I know I'm ovulating when bfing as my nips get soooo painful, like thrush painful.

Might go look at this zumba, we have a wii but my son put coins in it then hubby tried to fix it by taking it apart so its now broken:dohh:

I aim for 3 litres a day but its like 100 degrees here:haha:

oops!!! That would definitely break it! lol

OMG thrush painful is way more painful than I can tolerate, hope thats not the norm :(

Yikes I should have gone to bed when I got george to sleep, now his 2 hours are almost passed and Im sooooooooooooooooo tired yet I know if i move us to bed now he'll disturb and want feeding before i even had a bit of chance to get some shut eye! :dohh: bad move me!!
