Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

Do you ever feel like you're talking to a wall? I'm part of another group here and as of late, I feel like everything I say in there is said only to me. One of the girls didn't like something I posted on FB, and she deleted me...fine. Well, ever since then, everything I said in a particular thread that we're both in goes completely ignored by everyone, except one person. I swear I feel like I'm talking to a wall. It's not fun. I don't dare say anything though. I'm thinking I might just leave the thread altogether. Even when I've been away from the thread for a few weeks, I come back, say hi, check in, ask how everyone's doing, offer advice to those who asked for it, and I don't even get an acknowledgement that I said anything.

Glad it doesn't happen in this thread.

Speaking of this thread, we MIGHT have someone new join us soon. I met another mom on here whose daughter is 3 hours and 26 minutes younger than Anberlin. The ironic thing is though, that her daughter's name is the name of a song by the band Anberlin.

Aww Harvey its lovely he's entertaining himself so well! Mmmm roses:cloud9:

Eilidh kind of liked the swing lol, she was confused more than anything:haha:

Brandi, sorry did you say something? Sorry hun:hugs: I havent noticed that but some women can be so bitchy and petty hun, you're best off out of it:thumbup: Thats pretty cool both of you having babies connected to the band! Actually that said, sometimes I wonder if I talk too much on here:wacko: :xmas13:

No, mummy, it doesn't happen in here. It's in another thread that I've been a part of for a while, but ever since this one girl deleted me off FB (she started the thread), no one says anything to me

Sorry the other thread isnt very friendly Brandi - Not a problem here though. :D xx

Brandi :hugs:

Mummy - my dongle makes this site load weird and I keep missing posts, is there any updates about the bubba in your belly? I wanna see a FRER!!!!

I dont think we are doing the carpet now. The kids are finally asleep and I dont wanna disturb them. I'm just going to relax with my suuuper slow internet and a nice cold beer :D

lol, that's okay. It's just depressing me, that's all. if I say something in there, a lot of the time, the whole thread dies until the next morning, like they're waiting for me to disappear from it. Maybe I'm just paranoid. Oh well, I shall carry on in this thread!

I feel like an ass now. We just got a card in the mail from my brother- and sister-in-law, and we didn't send them ANYTHING. I'm off to the store now to buy Toys R Us gift cards for their kids, and then pay an astronomical $15 to send them a card before Friday, so that we don't seem like such butts.

One of our neighbours just bought up a present for Sam, so now I feel I have to give a present to her LO. :help: xx

Did you arrange to do no gifts with them Brandi? If so its a bit harsh of them to drop a gift on you and make you feel bad! Hun even if they are not doing anything intentional if they make you feel bad then best to stay away:hugs:

Wiggler enjoy your beer:friends: No update till friday but I dont feel very optimistic. Did you talk to your OH hun?:hugs:

24, hows your arms today with a walking Sam? Has he taken more milk as well today since you changed to the ready made?

My kids all woke up about 1 1/2hrs early from their nap:dohh: Ruaridh is the only one whos really slept, Anja woke Eilidh. Think I'm going to take them out to play again:thumbup: I've noticed Eilidh looks bigger, her 3-6m seems a bit better fitted in the sleepsuits:happydance: Should she be moving out of size 2 nappies soon do you think? They still overlap at waist and we have no leaking but I dont want to be caught with a poopy Eilidh randomly whilst out:nope:

Sams plates are soooo cute! bet he had loads of fun doing the painting:happydance: Eilidh loves doing painted footprints! How olds her LO hun?

Sam is taking milk much better, the little monkey. :D:D

Her LO is 19 months, so I am going to pop a wrapped up christmas book that I bought for Sam in their card.

Hope you have fun out playing again mummy. :D xx

in terms of formula milk. Follow on milk is designed to compliment weaning. It has more calories in it to hungry baby formula too so technically should keep a baby of 6 months more satisfied than the hungry one. The hungry formula has a element in it which makes the milk travel through the hut slower making them feel fuller for longer and s designed to delay weaning if the baby is really hungry. Hope that helps. Between my 2 boys we have tried them all bar stay down milk lol!

Wriggler, neighbours cant have you on account of your kids beimg too noisy so try not to worry too much.

Do you give a savoury puree like chicken amd veg and then a pudding? I dont think im filling william up

Charlotte, we dont puree but offer Sam a savoury main, then a pudding. :D His Favourite is spag bol with a pitta bread and then a yogurt. xx

Oh no, mummy, this totally wasn't expected. Mike's brother is from his dad. All his bitchy sisters are from his mom. He doesn't have any full siblings. We don't really see each other apart from when Mike's dad is visiting from Hungary, so it was quite unexpected. I would hate for them to send us something, because it's great that they're thinking of us, and then not send anything in return. It just seems so snotty not to send anything.

There's nothing worse than feeling like your talking to fresh air ( normally feel like that with hubby unless I mention money lol)

Ooh I won't be the newbie:happydance:

He's eventually gone to  :happydance: I'm having twirl bites instead of roses as Aaron wanted to bang on the tin n empty it upside down: yesterday we left him to the tin n he loved it, giggling away:cloud9:

I feel so guilty when people do that. Me ex colleague Buddhist nun turned up and brung, Harvey/Aaron/me/me & hubby presents so I went out n got her a boots voucher. Then my boss brought me a present to our dinner the other day after I asked if we could skip this year:dohh:
