Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

Blurghh is it really morning?? lol Plans for today - 'get dressed'... Im keeping it simple because if I dont accompish it then I wont feel too much of a failure if its only 1 thing I failed to complete today :smug:

George got his jumperoo back today, he well chuffed! lol I think he missed it since its been away for 2-3 weeks with my parents being up etc Are the other LOs still in their jumperoo's? I think George is getting for moving up to stage 3

Heyy awesome to see you back hun, hope you and the girls are well.. we miss you too :hugs:

Wiggler cool you got a lie in :) have a lovely day!

Brandi I think you right honesty is the best policy, I do think you should do the test.... it might not be an issue now, but one day the unknown will be a factor :hugs:

wiggler - answer to your question is Im doing nowt :haha: Just had a shower and have put my onsie pj suit on and am trying not to murder people - damn moods :dohh:

The day is going to plan so far, been having lots of fun with the kids, got lunch cooking now (pesto pasta, bethanys first time trying it outside of my tummy) and I am starving!!! The kids have been little angels, the weather is nice. I am havingn a really good day :D

Can I go back to bed?

I didn't get to sleep until 1:00am, and Isaiah was awake at 5:00am, 6:30:am, and now all three are awake at 7:00am...I've been up all three times, while the husband lays in bed pretending to sleep...and he went to bed at 9:00pm.

I need some rest so I'm happy and alert at 1:00pm for my hockey game. We're facing the team who beat us in the final game of the championships back in June. Gonna be a good one.

well... woken up til1am cos leo was in our room and he counldnt settle. got him in bed with us and he slept til 6am  this morning living room was a tip. Trying to feed Leo but SS tearing the house up - OH shouting at him, Leo crying and getting annoyed:wacko: so Iv come upstaires to sort the washing out and cool down. Then back downstairs to feed Leo his Fish and potato wedges  Almost monday.:haha:
OH had a go at me this morning cos Iv been so angry last week. I cant help it and lack of sleep hasnt helped. Leo was hysterical crying for no reason last night to the point he could hardly catch his breath. No idea whats wrong with him

I don't know how many of you have been to the Look-A-Like thread in the baby club, but pretty much EVERYONE agrees with you that Anberlin looks like Mike...someone even said she looks like his biological daughter. I brought it up to him last night, that people think she looks like him and he got all defensive and joke-y, meaning he was happy about it, but also didn't know what to say, was kind of shocked, I guess. I explained to him that if people who know her story think she looks like you, then we are pretty much safe in saying that total strangers wouldn't second guess. I didn't bring up a test though.

Here's another picture of them both facing, no angles. She is younger in this picture, 3-4 months, I think. I REALLY see it in this one.

Well Bethany LOVES pesto pasta  she couldn't ram it into her mouth fast enough and when her tray was empty she cried, bless her. I just did a little bit of housework, not doing more, I'm all full and sleepy from my delish lunch so relaxing on the sofa with the kids, its nice and quiet, no TV, no loud noise from neighbors, perfect :cloud9:

:hi: heyy missed you last week:flower:

New- have a lazy day, no ironing for you Hun :winkwink::haha:

Wiggler- glad your having a great day :happydance:

Inge- hormones :growlmad: what excuse have the men got :haha:

Mummy- morning :hi: what are you the kids up to today? N how's anja's cut?

Brandi- if hubby's happy the way things are why rock the boat:thumbup: I'd only find out for sure if it's a medical need:flower:

Well aarons cold isn't bad, a bit snuffly but his cough gets chesty, he threw up his bottle this morning
in a coughing fit:cry: he doesnt cough all day just now and then. Should I get his chest checked out
next week? I'm worried he may get a chest infection!

Nowt planned for today, as usual, hubby wants to chill even though he's been galavanting I.e. Dog
walk, bit of urgent shopping (nappies), now he's gone to costcos to check to see if bulk shopping place
is going to save us money:shrug:

He's making my choc ice cream today:happydance::cloud9: cant wait to put me crackin choc on it! Mmm mummy it's going to be yummy :tease:

Well the peace and quiet lasted 5 whole minutes, then the kids wanted to get down to play on the floor, I put the TV on for them so I can get everything ready for our walk.

Harvey if you wanna save money with shopping go to your local 24 hour supermarket around 9pm, lots and lots of reduced meat/cheese/veg/bread (some places slash prices up to 90%!!!!) we buy loads of stuff and freeze it, which reminds me, I need to look into upgrading my freezers, they are waaay too small. :haha:

I have pork chops defrosted for dinner and I have no idea what to do with them, it needs to be healthy and quick, but I have no idea at all.

What about a pork chop casserole with veg, pork chop salad?

Just got in, that was the first time I have taken the kids out on my own in yonks!!! We had a nice walk, I learnt where the local shops are and the local park and we saw a squirrel, Dylan loves squirrels and there is loads round here. Bethany fell asleep bless her, but she gave me lots ofsmiles when I woke her up getting her out of the buggy :cloud9:

I have decided that some of the dog owners round here are bloody rank, there is dog crap everywhere, and on my walk I saw this man who live in a first floor flat open his front door and direct his dog to go down and do a shit on the grass verge by the pavement while he stood by his front door, then just call it back when it started sniffing around my kids without cleaning up the nice gift it left on the grass! People who can't clear up after their dogs shouldn't own them, its disgusting.

You can be fined here for doing that, Wiggler.

lovely pictures brandi!

Glad you enjoyed your walk, and allowing your dog to foul the street is also illegal here brandi and you can be fined too... hope this stops before your kids start playing out there wiggler!

Inge you managed to not murder anyone today? Sounds like a hetic time you've had hun, and sleep deprivation is a nightmare :hugs: Hope you've had a relaxing day and feel better, I would be a grouch if I had had a week like yours!

:hi: harvey! Hows you hun!! You have been quiet of late - hope you're all ok there :)

So far i havent managed to get dressed, BUT I have done housework and sorted some unwanted baby items out lol George is having a great nap - about 2 hours now I think he is up to, obviously needed it! Bless him!

My lounge is packed again, I forgot how much space the darn jumperoo takes up :dohh: ! Im starting to wonder if it is time to get rid of the baby changing station? It was originally in place to home all the baby items (nappies, vests, sleepsuits etc) but now he has a set of drawers, and I buy the big boxes of nappies and they dont fit on tne station so all thats on there now is ermm... unused stuff lol Mum bought me the station though and Im not sure how she'll feel about me selling it? I didnt ask her to buy it, I fully intended on buying it myself, and she has commented in the past how it was a waste of money as I never used it as a changing station, but than accepted my reasoning it was never wanted as a changing unit, but as storage for all LOs stuff as I had no where - she agreed its been good for that, but now all his bath stuff etc is in the bathroom as he uses the regular bath not baby bath, clothing/vests/bibs are in his drawers, nappies are other side of the room... I dont want to upset or offend her though

Im dozing off sat down so its not good new! :haha: Leos ok, hes had his lunch and just had potato alphabets and herby chicken breast and then a strawberry yogurt  Hes now found a belt that hes happy to swing around:haha: Bed time soon and its not even 6pm :haha:

I spoke to my mum and she said 'it did what it needed to do for the first 6mths, it is a bit wasted sat there now' :happydance:

Awww Inge, cant OH take over Leo and let you nap for a bit hun?

Nah Id rather wiat til bed time, thing is Im such a light sleeper now wev had Leo. Im constantly on edge waiting for him to wake up :dohh: His cots in his room tonight so wer keeping him in there but if he wakes up and gets tearful again he'll probably come into our bed in the early morning. Hes currently wide awake playing with ss. Leo was with me but he tore my make up bag open and was waving the big bronzing tin around :haha:

Took Sam out for a walk today, and didnt take the buggy as he walked with me. :happydance: xx

like 1 step in front of the other proper walking???? OMG way to go Sam!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope Leo settles in his room!

Well... the moses basket has gone!!! (only upstairs lol) but with the intention of not using it no more! His hammock nest is now downstairs in its place, with the view of getting him used to it then moving it and him, upstairs at bedtime!

Yep, he just walks along holding our hands!! :D He's abit slow outside as he doesn't like shoes but he practically runs around the house!! Crazy child!! xx
