I think of a million things all day long that I want to tell you guys- but by the time I get to it I've forgotten it all :dohh:

Today was kind of rough- I JUST got to eat something and it's after 7 at night! And hubby was even home most of the day! He did duck out at 5 for his game night with the guys- after I explained to him that when this started he had 3 nights a week off and he wasn't leaving til 8pm- now he only has 2 nights off and cuts at 5 :growlmad: I tried getting through to him that doing the bedtime thing with both of them by myself is not easy or fun, and I desperately want fun giggles and snuggles  I think I got to him, we'll see in the next couple weeks how it goes- he went ahead and left early tonight "The guys are expecting me" :dohh:

we sold our couch today- it was only a year old but I HATE it and can't sit on it for more than about 15 minutes before my hips are killing me and my pelvis pops every time I stand up from it, even after 30 seconds! The kicker is I have another couch I want to buy- had it all lined up- someone to pick it up and deliver it- and it's less that what we sold the old one for! and then hubby pitched a fit and said we're not buying it unseen and have to wait- so the delivery guy is not available for the rest of the week and the guy selling the couch won't hold it. SO, moral of the story? Don't let your old couch go til the new one is in! I have a chair and that ass can park his ass on the floor til he gets me a damn couch! :haha:

SPIDER crab??? Do you mean king crab?

New- get that poor child out of the moses basket!

Mummy- any packing done?

Wiggler- let your mama spoil you :cloud9:

Inge- OMG  @falling asleep with little one out roaming! I actually have to pace back and forth a lot in the mornings to keep from doing that, I'm so scared of falling off!

Will be having a lovely SILENT evening with no kids, babas in bed and that infernal man out of my hair :haha: I hate it, though. Would just like some company  I've been very emotional and very very lonely lately. I feel very isolated and can't ever get out to do anything at all, let alone ON my own- I tried to leave today, just for an hour, and hubby came up with reason after reason for me not to go, until I hit breaking point and snap and give in and stay. AGAIN. *sigh. Sorry. Rant over.

OMG Milos- I only got 1:08 into that video- I understand the baby survives and what it's advocating but my nightmare is one of my children drowning and it gave me a panic attack!

I taught Aaron how to "swim" at two months- But it took 6 years to get Bethy, and she's still pretty afraid of the water. We are enrolling the twins in a class this summer. I understand the importance- just can't watch it!

it was very crazy to watch  i'd be so scared to do that with my own children. but i could see the benefit of doing it young.

That is amazing!! Part of me makes me want to get the kids in it (Zoe LOVES swimming, and the fence behind us has loose boards, and the house behind us has a pool. She's tried to go swimming before and has NO fear), but I'd be scared too.

What a HORRIBLE afternoon I had. I took two videos of Isaiah helping his Dad shovel today, and when I went to get a third, my Blackberry froze before starting the video. I got the video, but it wouldn't save. So I tried it again. This time, the video recorder said it was failing to start. I immediately googled to troubleshoot the issue and restarted my phone. Still wouldn't record, so I battery pulled, and STILL nothing. Now it was telling me that the media card was damaged and asked if I wanted to fix it, so I clicked on YES, only to have it tell me that it couldn't be repaired, so I called customer service, since my phone is only a month old, and spent 2 hours on the phone trying to figure out. We did everything, including resetting my SIM card, and eventually reset the entire phone and lost all my ringtones, contacts, pictures and videos off it. Resetting the SIM card did NOTHING, which is why we did the factory reset. In fact, after we reset the SIM, the phone wouldn't even recognize that the SIM card existed, and both the customer service rep and the Blackberry rep he was talking to were stumped. Eventually, it came down to me having to take the phone in to the store I bought it from to have them take it in for repairs. We tried switching SIM cards and I put Mike's in my blackberry and mine in Mike's Android. His phone picked up my SIM without any issue, but my blackberry wouldn't pick up his SIM card, which meant it was a phone issue and not a SIM issue, so I climbed in my car and took a 20-minute drive in a snowstorm, which made it a 45-minute drive, to go take my phone to get repaired. I was told it would be 1-2 weeks.

Well, imagine my joy (and my frustration) when the guy at the store did a quick and simple reset and had my phone working again within 5 minutes. :dohh:

I got McDonalds out of the deal though...Good night ladies. I'm going to bed.

When Bethany gets sleepy I put her in her cot, but 99% of the time she won't nap, just scream and so begins the very long process of getting her to nap, it takes ages.

I still have the lurgy, but my mum i coming over soon, Dylan is so excited, bless him. We are about to make cakes.

Bethany is in a mood again this morning, she woke up early, is tired but refuses to nap.

That's amazing Id love Aaron to be able to do that, but I couldn't watch him learn. Whilst watching that all I wanted to do was go grab the bairn out of the pool or shout for the parent to get him!

yeah that's what I meant:dohh: we nickname them spiders lol :cloud9:

Heyy you need to stand your ground and get out! Can you go to a local park With bethy or a friend for an hour or two? Or go to a friends house for a take away n drink? I was like you and backed down from doing things but then got soo stirred crazy I mad myself get out but still back out occassionaly:dohh:

How long do you reckon he'll be sitting on the floor for :haha:

:hugs: Heyy :hugs: my only friends live on the internet

I feel ya there- I do have friends locally, but due to circumstances never get to see them. I have way closer a relationship with you ladies than any of my friend around here!

Me too:cry: but :happydance: for you guys!

Over the years I've looked after hubby's kids whilst he was at the bar and football which meant not seeing my friends, but it was my decision as I didn't want the kids thinking no one wants to spend time with them at the weekends/holidays! which resulted in me only having a few friends.

One of my friends, we either speak weekly or monthly but we pick up where
we leave off which suits us both.

I love having you guys to chat to for a laugh, chat, advice etc and would now love it if we all lived locally and could meet up:winkwink:

By the way heyy I've started buying 1st birthday cards so I hope we go ahead with this plan:winkwink:

New- you've gota teach George this, it's right up his street lol he just jumps in and lies down:haha::blush:

How do you all put your LOs down for a nap? and where?

Aaron gets nursed to sleep then gets put in his play pen for a nap, the only time he'll go down awake is if he can't keep his eyes open any more and is like a nodding dog lol

Just nearly burnt me part baked buns:dohh:

My mam is going home soon:cry: but hubby is finishing work early today:happydance: but he has to go 1/2 hr out of his way to pick up aarons bargain off eBay £2.75 for baby's first steps walker:happydance:

We are going out tomorrow night:happydance: just the shitty local but it's out of the house with hubby :yippee: but MIL said she might turn up even though she doesn't know the person who's birthday it is:shrug: :growlmad:

Harvey- my plan is to get this list out within this next week- I still need to hear from a fair few of you, though
I have Brandi, Harvey, New, Mummy Wud, Wiggler, Milos-
so, Inge? 24? Wild? Charlotte? Anyone??? Ummmm, how bout Lisa? (I should message her and let her know we're doing this, huh? lol) We're kind of a dwindled group now, But I want to make sure no one who wants to participate gets left out!

My guess is he will be a floor dweller for a week  And he slept in my recliner last night (He hasn't slept with me in months- heaven forbid he get up with the girls at night :dohh: ) And I'm sure the chair will get old fast! lol
