i've thought about that. there's a website you can go to and find toddler groups near you (i looked a while back). i only came across one or two. one was really small group of like 5 children. all were older kids like 5 or older. and then some random young toddler. i dont have my drivers license so i'm not sure if i'd always have way of transportation. the one (with the small group) had a fee to join and said you're required to be very active in the group to stay a member, and they do outtings multiple times a week, going out to places you have to pay for like the zoo. i started to wonder if i'd be suited to be a in group like that.
and to be honest, i have a sort of stranger anxiety. i get really nervous, causes a speech impediment (that i got rid of during 4th grade but came back during 7th grade when i went through some things).
the only person i "hang out" with is his sister. but that's family so it doesnt really feel like i'm with a friend. he always comes home from work talking about things that happened at work, and things him and other guys joked about. i feel like a locked up SAHM. blahh, sorry, just venting

though i guess i could try googling again. lol. i've seen a lot of other moms post on baby-gaga about their toddler groups. and usually every mom is required to bring homemade snacks for group gatherings, make an activity, things like that. seems very demanding imo. i know i wont be able to be super dedicated like that! haha
