Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

my diet consists of jacket potatoes, beans and turkey mainly lol with salad usually or veg. OH has shown me how to make poached egg and cheese on toast so been having that too, not together lol

We have salmon, new potato and beans tonight. :D xx

I guarantee when I give OH his dinner he will whine that its not spicy enough, well tough poopie, I don't like really spicy food and as I cook he can shut up :haha:

Making home made chicken and veg stock tonight :) then probably a batch of chicken and veg soup tomorrow. YUM!

I think Joshua wanted spagg bol tonight, I'll have to get some meat when I go get him, he is on a late finish today so not picked him up yet to ask what he wants to eat.

oops sorry lol Joshuas fault lol he might not want that I just think I heard him say it yesterday or this morning lol

Some lovely food ideas, I love curry.

Yay for the garden furniture wiggler, great bargain!

So the pediatric GI doc has decided Eilidh is starving, we have the hospital breast pump back again and I have to pump and bottle feed her 2oz every 2 hours, if I cant get the milk I have to give formula and if she's not gained at least 5-7oz by next wednesday they will admit her :( we have escaped the nose tube by another week though which is something I guess. she thinks the lack of poop is due to lack of calories. I'm panicking though because even on the supplementing last time she didnt gain or poop.

:hugs: mummy, hope she gains fingers x'd x

i love spicy food, :haha:

our school closed today due to strikes. so ive been up to myeyes in it with the kids, and feel like ive done nothing, but me and luca had a lush bath and hes flat out, the new formula has made such a difference to his feeding pattern, and hes even more content now

Oh i love spag bol! We're having tomato and mozzarella ravioli for tea :)

Josh was brave at his jabs yesterday but has been a bit under the weather today. He's properly thrown up twice with milk coming out of his nose and he had a bit of a rash on his head and chest, but that's gone now. Not overly worried as he doesn't have a temperature and isn't acting strange apart from a bit tired and grizzly. Just keeping an eye on him.

It was horrible, i cried :haha:

charlotte- What bottles are you using? I'm using the Dr Browns bottles and i can really tell the difference! If i use any other bottle he ends up screaming for hours to the point where he can't breath properly. On the Dr Browns he is just a bit grizzly and grumpy in the evenings but is no where near as bad!

Well i am in a great mood today, LO slept from 10:30-4:30 then from 5-8.. so a lot.. then we went to the pediatrician and he has gained 1lb since last week, so far hes been gaining anywhere between 12oz-1lb a week since birth and i'm exclusively breastfeeding, so apparently thats stellar. On top of that I went to the dr yesterday and I have lost all of my pregnancy weight but 13 lbs(i gained 46 lbs when pregnant), and i have not dieted or worked out one bit, total opposite i am actually eating total crap right now besides my daily steamed spinach and grilled chicken(i make myself eat one healthy thing a day since i eat choclate chip cookies like they're going out of style) i can also have sex and start exercising again, so tomorrow I start pilates again and 20 min of cardio... Aside from that I get pretty annoyed with my husband, but thank god for pinot grigio and lexapro.

Why are the schools striking? My eldest has been on school hols for a month now, 6 weeks to go:haha:

Meow:hugs: Hope he feels better soon. Do you feel much better now hun? We use dr brown bottles for Eilidhs bottle feeds too.

Hopeful  that is incredible, both gain for LO and loss for you:happydance:

Gave EIlidh her bottle and she promptly threw it all up:dohh:

Hi girls! I have been terrible about keeping up. We're doing well. Luke is up to 5 hour stretches of sleep at night, which is great. He has been smiling and seems to enjoy alone time now (doesn't need constant cuddles like before). He's still a very mild mannered baby and rarely cries.

Our transmission went on one of our cars, so Z and I have been looking for a new one this week. It is annoying dealing with car salesmen, especially when they take up so much of your time. We've had our parents over to babysit Luke while we're out, so I've missed out on too much baby time. Can't wait til we've decided on one!

Here are some pics of my little guy... He's getting so big!

He's beautiful bizy, love his little frog outfit:cloud9: Hope you get the car fixed soon.

Bizy he so adorable and how cute is that little frog hat!!! Hope you get the car sorted quickly!

Hopeful amazing weight gain for Roberto and loss for you!!! Glad all is going so well, and hope your DH stops annoying you lol

Mummy I hope Elidh puts on the necessary weight to avoid any intervention next week hun. Does she act hungry? My HV said its totally normal for BF babies not to poop regulary. Oh and the schools are striking because of cuts, I assume money and benficial ones lol Its the whole civil servant and public sectors that have been tantruming lol Joshua was in school though, well least he was still there when I went to collect him end of school  the other schools in the area have all been shut, just Joshua's and 1 other in school today.

We had spagg bol for dinner it was delish! I went to a different butchers for the meat (just called at the local one to Joshua's school) omg it was devine, think we'll be doing a butchers swop from now on, little bit more pricey but the quality was very noticable lol

Mummy- sorry for all your issues right now, that must be difficult.

Bizy- sooo cute, does he have grey/blue eyes? Mine does, some days more blue some days more grey, me and hubby have brown eyes so its annoying to always hear "why does he have blue eyes" blah blah blah. I know most babies are born with that eye color just wish i didnt get asked the same questions all the time.

New- Thanks, ahh the pasta sounds amazing!!!

Beautiful pics bizy, Luke is so cute!!

Hopeful, sounds like all is going well.

Mummy - :hugs: xx

Eilidh still has blue eyes but my other 2 girls stayed blue, my sons eyes went green by 5 months though.

New, cant beata good butcher hlad your dinner was good. Lol dont think there's more money to be had!

Eilidh acts hungry before a feed but is settled after and sleeps well, she behaves just the same as the other 3 did:wacko: All thats happening with this extra feeding is she's puking everywhere. DH is ringing back.

Yes, he does have blue/gray/green eyes. I have brown but hubby's are blue so curious to see how they turn out.

Awe. Look at little Sam's cloth bum!

Mummy, hope her weight gain picks up.

New, mmm. You're making me hungry!

Hopeful, I haven't lost all of my pregnancy weight yet. My stomach still looks pretty scary, although I have definitely slimmed down. I also gained 46 lbs in pregnancy and have lost about 30.

I don't make a ton of milk, as I mostly seem to only have enough for Luke. I haven't been able to pump much extra since my clogged milk duct.
