Mayhem Babies! May 2011 mummies and babies

Yes Im now half the size squeezed into the top corner  Im not supposed to discuss anything he has written about lol - but i will tell you he wants to know if you have a thing called electricity over there yet.. :cloud9:

george is still asleep in his hammock!!! lol Actually doing better than a usual night in the basket!

Ibrufen is an anti inflammitory hun, diclofenac is a good pain relief for things like joint swelling but I think its prescription only

I can get ibuprofen tomorrow, we have diclofenac here from when I had my infection after Dylans birth and also from when OH had his viral infection, but it makes me feel high so avoided it, paracetamol doesn't touch it at all. argh! I deffo need this drs appontment or I'll chop the stupid thing off myself.

Wud, I just pmd you saying that Freja should go first as we're moving:haha: I'm very slow in replying but the computer is a relatively new invention over here

New

Wiggler, ibuprofen is pretty much it over the counter, the best stuff is either diclofenic like new said or nabutomone(sp):flower:

paracetamol doesnt have any anti inflammitory properities hun so it wont do much! I wouldnt take the diclofenac without a GPs say so hun, though doesnt sound like it works for you anyway.

Yes defo double check with gp! Paracetamol does nothing for inflammation. How did you hurt your knee in the first place hun?

Wiggler- Ibuprofen is your best bet for an over the counter- do not take more than 1200 mg in a 24 hour period. Some people get better results spreading that out and taking one tab every couple hours, I take a bunch (600-800) all at once and then the rest about 6 hours later.
 I understand completely with the anxiety. I have a social disorder as well and can't tell you how many things I have missed out on. But you have the right attitude, love- Mommies ARE invincible, and you can do it for him! <3
(Ps- would LOVE a PS3 but the Xbox was free :haha: )

Mummy- did I read correctly that Eilidh is on the move??? :happydance:

New- I LOVE the pictures you post of George and Joshua :cloud9:

Wud- sorry there's no takers on the kids/hubby/kidney

I can't believe we have walkers! I assume from the pictures that Ava is walking around as well?

Ok, LOVE LOVE LOVE our older kids and the penpal thing! I still get a letter from my childhood penpal every now and again! But it all brings up an idea I had- We have Mayhem babies starting to turn a year old in TWO MONTHS  and was thinking how nice it would be to send cards or postcards to the birthday babies :cloud9: (For those of you here in the states, it looks like international postcard rates are only $0.98 ) What do you guys think? You could PM me your addresses and I would compile a list for everyone wanting to participate and PM it to them, that way no one accidentally gets skipped-

Hubby called from work today to tell me he was in a minor "accident" on the way to work :dohh: this is his 3rd in a year, all very very minor, but all avoidable if he would just slow the F**k down and PAY ATTENTION! :dohh: Men! :growlmad:

Great idea heyy, not sure how I'd give you my address without revealing for all to see on here:shrug:

I'll catch up later, just doing aarons bottle as he's still asleep and was due to wake from 1.30am:shrug: it's now 7.15am :happydance: I hope this keeps up:thumbup:

Private message your address then no one else can see it
I need to get dressed then head out. Might take Leo with me so he gets out and calms down. OH and SS fell asleep watching transformers alst night so I had the bed to myself:happydance: Another good thing is my size 12 skirt from h&m is quite big on my now and my tshirt I got from Apricot 3 years ago fits good again  But my taking ages to get dress in front of the mirror when OH was in the room did nothing for him :haha: I thought I looked good though :haha:

Need advice ladies:thumbup:

Aarons cold has gone on his chest and he's pretty chesty, coughing now and then (yesterday morning he threw up whilst coughing badly). At mo cos he's teething I've been giving him liquid paracetamol, n bonjela. Am I not over reacting in taking him to docs to ensure he's not got a chest infection:shrug: other than these he's fine in himself, getting into all sorts of trouble

Aaron started waving today :happydance:

I dtake him just to be sure, if he has got a chest infection, best to get it sorted.
Leo slept all the way round town and only woke up as I opened the front door

Going for a nice walk with my biggest monkey to the park soon so OH can fit the underlay, he is doing 2 layers of underlay in the lounge, one in the hallway and one under the carpet in Dylans room, that will leave enough to finish Dylans room when we get carpet for in there and enough to do most of our room. I'm going to miss having a lounge door, OH is going to end up taking ages resizing it, he hasn't even put a curtain pole up in our room yet :dohh:

Got some really really cute piccies of Bethany eating her pesto macaroni earlier, I will upload some tonight, the dongle signal sucks atm

Harvey does he have a temperature? If he had infection then he would have a temp hun, though the very fact you have considered a doctor, take him, mothers intution is NEVER wrong, and even if he is ok it is better for a doctor to say he is ok, than you to stay home and himn need antibiotics!! :hugs: I hope he is feeling better soon hun xxxx

So I put the moses basket away last night in favour for his hammock - today the hammock is being packed away in favour for the moses basket.... look what the monkey has learnt already....

Naughty George. :D
We took Sam to the doctors with his cough last week harvey and got the all clear but they listened to his chest and looked at his ears and throat. xx

In church today he was sitting on my knee playing with my buttons on my coat, and he grabbed either side of my coat and pulled himself to standing :happydance: not sure it counts because he had all kinds of support lol but the effort and desire was all his lol then in the hammock he just grabbed the sides pulled himself right up and made a bee line to get out head first :dohh:

Glad Sam got the all clear hun. is he feeling better now?

He can do it, just on his own terms. :haha:

Sam is better now thanks new, just a cough left thats worse at night, typically!! xx

Glad he is feeling better, that cough may linger for a while but hope it isnt upsetting him :hugs:

heyy - is you all fixed and back with us?? :hi: Hope you're all well!!

New, Aaron doesn't have a temp But the cough is pretty chesty when he's coughing, and I can hear his chest when he's breathing sometimes, but he's ok in himself. I just dont want it getting worse and developing into anything!?

Lol at George:haha: he's been talking to our babies who climb out of the ball pits  I've noticed this last week Aaron is getting quicker, more inquisitive etc:wacko: I'm knackered! But at least he's sleeping longer now, last night he slept from 11.30pm till 8am :happydance:

:dohh: :haha: Aaron does that lol I think to myself I'll have a cuppa when I get in but :nope: as soon as his pram goes through the front door he wakes up:wacko:

Oh yay thats good aaron!!!! Wish George would copy the sleeping babies not the climbing ones! lol

The docotor will give him a check over hun then you'll know xxxx
