Mei Tai Sewing pattern

I have been looking for a couple of weeks for an actual sewing pattern to buy but can't find one. I know there have been sewing instructions on here a number of times but as my machine is old and I don't sew very much anymore I wouldn't trust myself to do it but DHs work has a trim shop who have agreed to make me one but they need the pattern to work from. Anyone know where I can get one? xx

Just had this out of the packet to look at and i dont really like it - no x-boxes the straps are just sewn onto the head rest. Would need some modifying to be really strong i would think. Just to make you aware.

I had started making one following instructions off the internet which seems better, but that has been put on one side till i find better fabric. Can find the links for you if you like - i found a few which were ok.

I bought this one:

and made it about 3 weeks ago (it was easy to do, although the long straps are a bit tricky to contend with ) - it has cross over straps inside the main part, so it seems pretty strong. The only thing is that it has to come from USA, but that didn't cause any problems.

The women whose pattern it is has a lovely blog all about making and crafting things (if you're into that kind of thing!)
