metformin ALONE!!

ok can someone tell me this

why oh why if they know that clomid AND metformin together are better to get pregnant, why have they only gave me metformin!!

do they not think i have waited long enough for the appointments etc...just to SEE if metformin alone will work FFS

oo i have PCOS btw

Because metformin alone can work so they like to give you that first for 3 months before they try you with the clomid. It is better to have the met in your body for when you start the clomid.

Clomid is not the nicest drug to take and you don't really want to be taking it unless you really have to.

i just rang my fertilty nurse and she told me pcos means my ovaries are like porcilin right now and the metformin softens them up helping them ovulate. she wants my periods to get regular first and in 3 months i should be either pregnant or more regular, if in 3 months im not pregnant she will put me on clomid, just like u said lol
