metformin and got PERIODS?

Hi,friends ,any one here took metformin tablets and got their periods ,iam soo depressed, iam getting my periods only through medicines...(progesterone pills) ,does metformin regularize periods....??

Iam having pcos since from 2yrs after marriage,before marriage it was irregular and at present with medication only iam getting my periods,iam new to this forum,i don't know where to post my problem,,,,please any one there to reply
