Well rly I only need a 6 wk, but the 8.5 is the first diabetic clinic appt i can get into. I have PCOS so insulin resistant rather than diabetic rly, just need to be a bit more careful. Also I got preg on a clomid cycle so theres a higher chance of multiples and other general complications.
Had a 6.30am swim this morning, had loads of energy so thought id make use of it. pooped now. not v like me to be a morning person

I see what you mean now, sorry. I haven't been told about any of that and i was diagnosed with pcos 6 years ago, since had Brooke nearly three years ago and never got any extra scans or anything with her
I took 4 months of 200mg of clomid before this cycle where i only took 100mg. How does that work that a lower dose would result in preg? I guess it was just my lucky cycle lol.
How do you feel? Do you feel like you have more than one baby growing in there? I have a strange feeling that i do

I'll be biting my nails (metaphorically speaking of course ha) until May 6th when I have my very first scan, which as far as I know, will probably be a vaginal one :S

I didn't realise they give you a vaginal scan if it's an early, i assumed it would be a normal abdominal ultrasound, which is why i wondered if it was only two weeks apart.

Vaginal ones rly are ok, you just have to not tense up, you sit with your legs just like having a smear. They use a great big long thing but it doesnt go up you that far at all. Ive had some which have been quite pokey, but those were to check ovaries etc. Im sure that they will be gentle as theres a little package in there now.
I had to have a bajillion of them while ttc. Being preg I think we will have to learn the art of having no shame - in the end we'll be with our legs in the air, pooing on the bed, with the DH taping it all
I got the wrong end of the stick, i thought you meant an abdominal scan. I've had a few vaginal ones too... not the nicest things in the world and they really do swing it about in there. Hope they are gentle and don't disturb your bubba.
So do you know how long they would do a vaginal one then start the abdominal ones? ie. vaginal up to 8 weeks then ab from then on?
Oh and i will kill my OH if he even brings the camera into the room with him let alone catching me bearing down on it lol.. can you imagine sticking that film on with all the family round?
