Middle name for Molly

We have 100% decided that if we have a girl we'll call her Molly, but I'm struggling deciding on a middle name.

Molly Katy
Or
Molly Evelyn

We loved Evelyn to begin with but now I kinda want to save it incase we have another girl in the future.

The name Katy isn't one of my favourites, but my mums name is Kay and she gets Katy as a pet name so thought it would be a good way to honour her.

So do I use Evelyn a name I love, and think of a different name should we ever have another girl or go with Katy which has sentimental value but I don't love quite as much.

If we have a boy he will be Ted David.

I love Molly 💕 how about Molly Kate, I think it rolls of the tongue a little easier, otherwise you have two 'e' sounds xx

I say use two names you love - in case she's your only baby girl - I say give her the best name possible... your absolute favorite! If not, you'll regret it. Chances are, even if you do have a second girl down the road, you'll have a new favorite name by then.

Molly Evelyn sounds nice together. At one time I considered the name Molly Isabella. Love the name Molly - sweet & classic!

I'm not sure Molly Katy has "good flow" since they both end in the same (ee) sound. I think Molly Kay is a better pairing if you choose to honor your mom.

Mmm I agree with both PPs not sure Molly Katy works because of the the 'e' sounds - Molly Kate is better.

My daughters name is Evelyn and very much an Evelyn and not an Evie and think (I'm a little biased) it's too pretty for a middle name...

Thanks ladies I really appreciate your comments. But I think the fact that I felt a bit of sadness that you didn't like Molly Katy makes me realise how much I actually do like it!!

I agree Evelyn should be used as a first name. I love it. Just slightly less than Molly though.
