hey ive just come off pill, thinking about charting, im ntnp but thinking about taking the step forward, plus since my bodys messed up after coming off pill i want to see whats going on with it..!

was just wondering, when using opks etc do u get a positive when you're just about to ovulate in so many hours or something, or do u get one when currently ovulate?

does it vary between different kits? xxxx

When you get a + OPK, you should Ov within 12-36 hours. Basically the rule is, when you get a +, start BD'ing and don't stop until you see the thermal shift (if you temp, you'll know what I'm talking about). Otherwise, you can keep testing to watch the line fade away but probably BD once again for good measure.

P.S. If you're using the strips with the 2 lines - 1 control and 1 test, the test line must be as dark or darker than the control line to be +. There are also the digis which will give you a simple yes or no in the form of a smiley face or empty circle.

I've tried 2 different brands of OPKs and they worked the same way for me.

Thank you! was beginning to think no one was going to reply!!xxxx
