Might not be ABLE to have a home birth! :(

I can't find any private midwifery practices in my area, only two clinics. Therefore I don't believe I'll be able to actually have a home birth, but they'll want me in their clinic instead .

Has anyone ever considered/went through with an unassisted home birth?

I know a few people who thought about UC, but personally I would be hesitant (and I am all for natural birth 100%)... You wouldn't know if something was going wrong... I just couldn't deal with that.

There aren't any midwives or lay midwives in the WA area? What about staying at a hotel somewhere else for the month? I know people who have done that. Our MW has delivered at many a hotels
