I definately talk to my husband mother more than my own mother but it's only because she is on facebook and AIM all the time. I'm not much of a phone person either so I find talking through e-mail and instant messengers is perfect! Don't feel like you have to talk to her- I'm shy also and I hate that feeling of being pressured.

I only met OH's mother 2 times. She died of liver cancer within only a month or so (not even) of us dating. I wish I could have known her more. She seemed like a fascinating person. He says we would have gotten along really well...
