Molar and Partial Molar Pregnancy Support Group

Hi ladies,

Sorry i have not been around. I am feeling a bit low tbh. I am just so upset about this, about the fact that my hcg is still high, that there is no reason for it and nobody really knows why.

I had another blood test yesterday, but am not expecting brilliant results. I will wait to see what wednesday brings. I am trying to stay positive, but am not sure what the future brings. I am not even sure about trying for another baby, because i couldn't go through this again. Idk.

Good luck today Megan.

Sorry for not replying to you all, i hope you are all well. I am thinking about you all.

Love you all
Lotte x x

So sorry to hear you feeling down hun, it can all be so hard at times :hugs: I really hope this blood test shows your levels have gone down nicely. I hope your trip away helps you to feel a bit better. Thinking of you lots and sending big hugs! :hugs:

MrsWag - good news! lovely! a christmas baby too! My little boy was born on Boxing Day and this one is due around the 14th December so it will sort of be another Christmas baby. Glad everything is good - hopefully you can relax and enjoy this pregnancy now!! xx

Lotte, how'd your bloods go? I hope they are still dropping. Have a wonderful holiday away from everything. Relax and have lots of fun. Sending heaps of hugs xx

Megan!!! Amazing news! So pleased to read your news! xxxxxxxx

Avgabcon - if your late it could be a crimbo baby! xxxx

that's great newas Mrswag!!

As for me... AF didn't show... it was due yesterday. I woke up and took a first response test just to see. BFN.

but still no sign of AF. AF is always on time.. down to the last 2 hours of the day it comes on time..... i was expecting it sunday morning....

I don't have any other symptoms besides feeling really wet down there... I was looking it up online and some people think that it could be travel jet leg. Though it's never happened to me before when i travelled. This vacation wasn't particularly longer then what we went on before.

Hopefully AF won't show up.. and I will test again tomorrow morning.

Definitely won't be late! after 3 emergency c-sections this one will have to be planned so it will be at least a week earler than my actual due date! But I'm thinking at least I'll have recovered a bit from the op and home and in a routine by the time Christmas day is here!! xx

I see! Well like you say at least you will have some recovery time before xmas cause i can imagine it must be a very busy and excting day with 3 kiddies and a new baby!. Do you mind if i ask why you had emergency c-sections?

I spoke to CX today, and they said it does look like my levels are stalling, and to see what my results would be on Wednesday. Obviously I then go away for a couple of weeks, so they said if the results are still not falling then, then I will have to go back to CX to maybe have more imaging!

I siad I wasn't keen on returning to CX unless it was absolutely essential, so we will have to see.

I am planning to start trying again after my next af (which hopefully will be mid May) and I know they are not happy about it, but they said it was my choice. I don't even know if I am ovulating. I don't really get +opk's - they went darker for a couple days, but never proper dark. I bought a clearBlue Fertility Monitor, and I got 2 highs last month on like day 24 and 25 - when I got a clear temp rise on day 19! I get a temperature rise on my BBT, which apparently is the only way you can actually confirm ovulation, so that suggests I am. Idk

I suppose I need to be more patient and wait till Wednesday , and then when I come back from holiday take it from there. So flippin' frustrating!

Laura - I don't mind at all. I like reading other people's birth stories and I think the more aware people are about things and also how things can turn out fine in the end can only be a good thing!! (I seem to remember briefly writing this down on one of these forums before so if anyone is reading it again I apologise!) and don't read on if you don't like reading about things going wrong (even tho they were all happy endings) I don't want to offend/upset anyone.

1st - I'd had about 14 hours of really intense contractions (through the night) but still wasn't actually in labour and they kept losing the heartbeat. They tried to take a blood test (I think?) from Ava to check the oxygen levels but really panicked as they could feel what they thought was a hard growth on the head. Consultants came in and turns out she was 'back to back' and 'brow presentation' - quite rare so what they were feeling was her chin I think and not the top of her head. Rushed off for c-section. Also the day after I was told they thought she was downs - specialist came and checked her and gave her the all clear but she just had a very squashed head/nose/eyes from the way she had been squashed trying to come out. When the midwife came to the house a week or so later Ava was slightly jaundiced so she sent us to the hospital. when we got there it turned out she'd phoned ahead and said she suspected downs! So we had to explain everything and had to have all the tests done. She was absolutely fine!!

2nd - again about 15 hours of contractions through the night -got to about 2 cm I think. Kept losing heartbeat - again emergency c -section! i think the cord was wrapped round her neck but i was so exhausted/out of it by this time it's all abit hazy!!

3rd - because i was only 27 weeks when my contractions started (again late at night!!) they said I could probably try a natural birth but when the consultant was examining me I suddenly got a huge bulge in my tummy. She panicked and said 'we need to get him out now, i think your uterus is going to burst!' - so again off I was whisked. There were about 15 people in the room because of this and the fact he was so early. They were expecting me to haemorrhage I think as I had laods of units of blood on standby!

I am a bit sad that I'll never know what it's like to experience a normal birth but at least they (and me) are all here safely. It's only the day after that's reall really sore - to me it feels like really bad sunburn and somenone roughly running rough sandpaper over it - really burns!!

Anyway, has anyone else watched Coronation street with Julie at her 12 week scan? It will be interesting to see what is wrong....although I have my suspicions!!

I have everything crossed for your results :hugs: I guess with scans and you trying again they air on the side of caution. They said to me because people have relapsed in the 1st year of chemo they have to advise me to wait a year. I hope your levels have dropped enough so you dont have to go back....but maybe if you are wanting to try soon maybe it wouldnt hurt for a scan?!?!

I cant really help you with temping and the fertility monitor as i dont know much about it. Ive been doing opks so when i get a darker opk i test a few times a day as sometimes i get a surge later on then when i test the next morning its lighter again so if i dont test a few times id miss it. As ive been doing them for months now i kinda notice my cm and ovary pain at that time so i can only assume im ovulating.

:hugs::hugs::hugs:

Avgabcon - thank you for sharing your stories! Must have been pretty scary for you at times during your labours but its good to hear that all times you and baby have been fine. I think it shows how different labours can be and that when things go wrong that it doesnt mean everything goes wrong. It must be a bit sad you will never have a natural delivery but most important is that you have all been ok and that this time round its not worth the risk.

Dont watch corrie so i dont know whats been happening!

Hi Ladies, I've got pregnancy number 4 on board! So this could be baby number 2 in the making! (unless its PGTD cells growing back of course, but I very much doubt that considering the timing!)

Not sure if this will be a sticky one, as my lines aren't as dark as they were at this stage with my sucessful pregnancy. I'm just going to keep testing and see what happens.

My next charing cross test is due on monday, good timing if this does work out!

Fingers crossed!

Ah Dano!!!! Amazing news....have everything crossed for a sticky bean for you. Do you get extra scans again? Big hugs for you xxx

How is everyone else?

AFM i just finished with AF sooo....one more and it will be June! Woop!

xxxx

Thanks hun! Bit of a suprise to get one after only 4 cycles this time!

Yeah I got 6 week and 8 week ones last time, and one early one during my last miscarrige, so should be no problems getting an early one again, I'm practically on first name terms with the epu here :haha:

Ps. June is soooo close now! Hope you get lucky first go!! X

Congrats Dan-O!!! *hugs**

I`m still getting BFN and no real AF! 3 days late now... this morning i started seeing a little bit of pink when i wiped so that might be the witch on her way...

UGH!! I`m never late.. now if i`m not pregnant and af shows up, this month i think i will buy a opk... because i`m not sure when i ovulate!!

Congrats Dan-o! that's fabulous news!

Tung, hope the witch shows here face soon, its typical, the months you aren't trying you get perfectly regular cycles, as soon as you start trying, they go irregular!

I have an hour to wait to get my latest blood results - I am so flipping nervous. I asked to work from home as well so at least when I cry (as I'm sure I will) i will be in private.

I'll be back to update you all
xx
